Mastectomy Reconstruction with Previous Implants - Destin, FL

Dr. Burden was my breast augmentation surgeon 6 years ago and did a beautiful job. Then 3 years ago I found out I had breast cancer. After the mastectomy (only one side) I did not go back to him for reconstruction because he did not take my insurance. Big mistake! I had 3 reconstructive surgeries by a highly regarded female surgeon where the breast dropped and was very painful. It looked terrible and felt terrible. I did this 3 times, mind you!! I spent 2 years miserable, uncomfortable, in pain and sad about the whole ordeal. I decided to try reconstruction one last time and saw Dr. Burden even though it was an 8 hour drive to get to Destin, FL. After consultation he preformed the surgery which has turned out better than I could have ever hoped for. My breast is round, even with the other side and feels like it is part of my body again. Not some ugly, painful appendage. This result has made me feel sexy again. I can wear v neck shirts and bikinis and know my cleavage is beautiful. Dr. Burden is also a flat out nice person. It's sort of like talking to your closest male friend when you do a consult with him and he looks like a rock and roll star. He clearly has an artists touch plus a brilliant mind to help a woman (person) meet her goals physically. I would highly recommend him.
