Lost 50 lbs

Here is a side by side from left after I did the cool sculpting in August 2017 and now Feb 2020. You can see the indentation where they placed the plate to freeze the fat off. Right under the bottom of my chin the fat doesn’t hang until a bit further back. I don’t like it. Now that I’ve lost this weight and I’m 3 years old I can see jowls starting to appear. I’m going to lose more weight and get the chin implant and the liposuction I’ve always wanted as well as fillers for the jowl if it becomes worse. This will be my permanent solution. Cool sculpting is good if you don’t have a lot of weight to lose. I am worried about the elasticity not coming back so lips will be the way to go.

I’ve Lost 42 Lbs

I have lost 42 lbs since May 2019 doing it slowly and no crazy fad diets. While the chin is going away, it’s stubborn. Thankfully I’m glad to have good elasticity at almost 44 years old where I can pinch my chin and it bounces back. I’ve always had a baby chubby face and now as I get older my cheekbones have come out probably due to lost volume as I get older so my face looks longer in different poses.

The coolsculpting was a good start but I want to lose another 25 lbs and if it’s not gone, I will go to get liposuction and the chin implant I’ve always wanted since I have a short chin.

As I’ve said before coolsculpting is not liposuction. I think it’s good if you have lost a lot of weight or already at a good weight and just need a little bit gone. It’s not a quick fix or miracle.

It’s Been Over a Year

It’s been over a year since I’ve had coolsculpting done and have also lost 37 lbs. The cool sculpting has definitely made my chin look more defined. Would I do it again? Maybe after more weight loss but to lose the fat, I will lose more weight and cool sculpting will help define it. Don’t expect a miracle. Only 20% of the fat cells die. This is not lipo auction. At 42 I am thankful to have decent genetics with my skin and it’s elasticitu.
