I was on accutane almost a year after being battle with my acne more then 10 years. I am experienced in it:hormone pills, beauty treatments, holly land, estee' lauder, clinique, avene, biotherm, decleor, givenchy, l'occitane, neostrata, vichy, clarins and other crap including purge face procedures, with greedy estheticians did my face nothing or worse .
Accutane and prior facts of touching own face with own or cosmetologist's hands affect my skin and left with a lots og scars especially on my cheeks.
So now I am 31 years old battle with my scars. I did 2 injections and 2 venus viva laser . I need to do more lasers (about 3 more) eact costs at the moment $350-450. i can say I am happy with result that I already start to see and I am interested of course to see my skin in the end of 5 th laser.
I actually do not recommend to do particularly these treatments bc everyone skin is different and that what the doctor adviced me. And He was very honest that I won't have perfect skin all what I can get little bit improvement.
What I want to recomment it's the place where I have done it. (Info below). bc of honest approach, costs (I did not feel rip off) and results. PS. Yes I do not have final result and who knows how my skin will look after 6 months or a year (I heard sometimes scars looks again visible in a time) but at the moment I see good improvement. (Scars less visible, more smooth). Redness has gone on the 2-3 day. I did not have bloody face. Day after procedure it looks like I was on the sun that's all.
Yes and none paid me for this feedback. Photo I will put after my last treatment , don't ask now.

How has everything been going since you posted this?  I'm curious if you did the additional treatments and what kind of results you have been seeing.

Also, I just created a forum post about what the Venus Viva recovery is like for anyone considering this treatment.  I would SO appreciate it if you could take a moment to post your thoughts and advice over there:

Hi, I ve finished all course about 3 months ago. My advice to do injection before each venus viva treatment . For instance I did 2 injections and than I did 4 venus vivia. Than I did again injection and than I did my last venus vivia on a hight power (the nurse increase the power each time you do procedure.
It's painful but the healing process is very quick (depends what power they use). With a highest my face was red 2 days and other 3 days look just like I was on the sun.
Best do not apply any pake up in during next day after procedure.
The doctor honestly told me I can keep doing venus (bcit improve skin) but it would not do anything to the scars.
I suggest to do injection(s) first (depends from how deep your scars) then venus, then again injection there where you need (in dipper scar) and then venus=it will be best result. I would not say scars are gone . But they less visible and look more accurate.
I would do it again after year maybe but not 5 treatments. Injection by them own would not do much bc they are temporary but as I understand they help machine to reach the lower level of the scar skin .

also important to show the doctor where exactly you need inject glycolic acid (they say they mix different things but i thing the main ingredient is glycolic acid. Don't be shy correct them in case you think you need to improve scar and use dipper needle for particular scar. Bc they don't know your face as you do.
