Dermasound and Hearing Loss?

I heard all this great stuff about the Dermasound Facial and thought I would try it - the facials grounded me to the machine and I got the feeling this would be different - truth is I did little to no research as many friends have had it and love it - all was going well until she started the ultrasound part to treatment - I felt/heard these weird sounds, almost like some weird warping bells - it was a bit alarming but I though it was just part of it - all was done and I felt a bit disoriented - not terribly unusual after laying down in the dark for an hour - my skin was so smooth - well I noticed the next morning when I answered the phone that I could not hear well from my left ear - thought it was my phone - well by the end of the day I noticed a full feeling in that ear - a low buzz - almost like a ringing - and certain sounds would sound super sharp - like feedback on a hot microphone - well it has been 5 days and there has been no change - I talked to the technician and she was upset and surprised by my situation - said she would talk to the reps from the company - I need to talk to my doctor and see if I can get some guidance and answers - at this point I am thinking I might have permanent hearing loss - from a facial!!!!! pretty upset - hoping I can get some insights - thanks -
