Dermaplaning-not Worth It
UPDATED FROM pnovello
Dermaplaning
I’m sorry, March 29-Friday. The first picture is a month later. If you look closely there are brown and white spots. I had a hard time trying to take a good picture on left side. There are also brown and white spots, along with pinkish color on the left side.

Dermaplaning-not Worth It
In March 31st, I had a Dermaplaning in Arlington,TX. It left scars! I went back the next Tuesday April 2nd and they said to take vitamin C twice a day. Also, to put Aquaphor for two weeks. I went yesterday, May 6, Monday, (I would have gone last week but I wasn’t here). I had a hydrafacial yesterday and it cleaned my face, a little bit. But, I have to have several for maximum effect. (I’ll go elsewhere) So, up to you if you want it done. Needless to say, I’ll NEVER have it done again. I’ll just stay with chemical peels. The hydrafacial was $210. This is the first time that I have ever posted anything so bear with me.

Oh my heart goes to you as I too had some botched jobs done so I know what you're going through. However, I don't understand whether what you had done is a FACIAL or a DERMAPLANING? If the former it shouldn't leave any marks absolute. If the latter...what do they exactly do in "dermaplaning"? I do hope you'll find a way to clear your beautiful face soon. ;)
A lot of times, people will get a dermaplaning + a facial or dermaplaning + a peel with the idea being dermaplaning is a good skin prep by getting all the dead skin cells off so the products used for a facial or a peel can penetrate and work better.
When dermaplaning is done correctly, it kind of feels like a rough, dry shave (they use a rounded scalpel to do it, kind of like pressing really hard using a single blade old style razor) but it shouldn't cut your face up at all.
If someone who isn't experienced with dermaplaning does it they can easily press too hard or at the wrong angle and very literally shave/scrape/cut skin off instead of just scraping the top layer of dead skin & peach fuzz off.

Thank you for explaining Tavzari. :)
Geez. Thanks for sharing. My aesthetician had just recommended it.
I think as long as your aesthetician knows what they're doing you shouldn't have this much scarring. I'm not a pro, but it looks like whoever did the dermaplaning for the woman in the photos didn't know what they were doing or weren't as experiences.
It's awful when things go wrong. You go full of hope that you will look better and then that hope gets thrashed. I do hope that you are feeling better and that your skin has improved by now

Whoever did your dermaplaning shouldn't be doing it as they clearly don't know how to not slice the skin open.
A few rounds of chemical peels might help with the hyperpigmentation (the brown spots) but might not do much for the white spots. Can't say I'd recommend going back to whoever did your dermaplaning as if they messed that up as badly as they did, I'd be extremely wary of letting them near my face again, especially for a chemical peel.
Laser might be something to look in for the darker spots as well, if chemical peels don't help and the spots bother you.
