Severe infection within hours of getting fillers.

Almost a month ago, I had a horrific experience at Dermapure. Within hours of getting fillers done, I had severe infection, swelling, lumps and bumps, ridges in my face and numbness in certain parts. It was so severe I ended up in ER. When I contacted the office, I was told the nurse injector, office manager and doctor were all off. I didn’t hear from them till 2 days later.
The doctor’s idea of a “fix” was to dissolve the fillers by inserting needles into areas that were extremely infected and painful, no numbing applied. When I said that it was painful, his response was , “Yes, it can be uncomfortable “. Regardless, it did nothing to improve the lumps.
I was forced to consult a plastic surgeon and was told that in addition to filler migration, hence the lumps, I had skin necrosis. Yes, that is skin death, a result of filler being injected into nerves.
In spite of all this, I attempted to work with Dermapure, asking for a refund and costs of meds and plastic surgery, a very minor amount. After a second visit to the plastic surgeon, I updated Dermapure through their regional director, on my expenses. Her response was to ghost me. I have still not had a follow up response from the company.
In 2023, Dermapure showed earnings of $2,000,000 to $10,000,000 PER LOCATION, yet they refuse to refund my expenses.
In my opinion, this company fails on all self professed elements . Care and compassion- none. Professionalism- none. Client service or integrity-none. Accountability-clearly none.
Is this a risk you are prepared to take?
