Dr. Steinsapir Fixed a Previous Nightmare Surgery — I Can Smile Again

I am writing this review to help anyone who may be where I was last year—confused, traumatized, and desperately searching for someone who could truly help after a bad surgical outcome. After being rejected by multiple surgeons and feeling completely hopeless, I stopped praying… but finding Dr. Steinsapir gave me hope again, and I have resumed praying with gratitude for the results.
In December 2024, I underwent a 7-hour surgery under general anesthesia with Dr. Kaweski that included a neck lift, lower face lift, and fat grafting to my tear troughs. From the very first night, I knew something was wrong. I was violently ill and vomiting all night long. I also developed a large, bloody hematoma in my left eye, which was terrifying to see.
By the very next day, it was clear the results were bad. My lower face had been pulled far too tight, causing creases and a pebbled chin. My jawline was no longer horizontal—the left side sat noticeably lower than the right. My neck lift was asymmetric, with a visible right platysmal band still sticking out. When I smiled, my lips pulled unnaturally to the right, and my left eye developed double rings that had never existed before.
Later, I learned I had suffered motor nerve damage, which resulted in a permanent tic: when I blink my left eye, the corner of my left lip twitches upward. This has been devastating and irreversible.
Within the first month, I sought a second opinion with Dr. Smoot, who confirmed that the neck lift result was indeed poor. Over the following months, I consulted more than ten oculoplastic surgeons and plastic surgeons, many of whom told me there was nothing they could do. I became deeply depressed, traumatized, and hopeless. I stopped praying. I lost my appetite and my weight dropped from 117 pounds to 109. My poor husband had to listen to me cry every single day for months.
Dr. Kaweski denied doing anything wrong. She suggested that I pay for three PRF treatments at $2,000 each to “fix” my tear troughs, which I declined. She also charged me $800 to address a jaw divot that appeared because my face had been pulled too tightly. I developed pixie ears, a known complication of overly tight facelifts, which she did not address or acknowledge.
At one visit, when I tried to stay positive and mentioned that some aspects of the surgery at least made me look younger, Dr. Kaweski and her patient coordinator fist-bumped in front of me, saying “no nerve damage!”—an interaction I found shockingly unprofessional. It later turned out that I do have permanent nerve damage.
She also encouraged me to spend thousands of dollars on Renuva, which I later learned is irreversible, just like the tear trough fat grafting that had already caused so many problems. At that point, I stopped seeing her altogether.
Still desperate, I sought help elsewhere. I saw Dr. Kelly Satterfield, who charged me $1,500 for filler removal on my right eye, which did nothing to address my issues. She then proposed $4,000 of Morpheus laser treatment to possibly reduce excess cheek fat from the grafting. I ultimately felt she was out of her depth. Despite my repeated requests to focus on fixing my double rings, she spent much of the time trying to “play therapist,” which I was charged for, instead of providing solutions.
In further desperation, I went to a medical spa for Botox to try to soften the double rings, which only made my appearance worse.
I was truly at the end of my rope.
Then I found Dr. Steinsapir.
From the very first phone call, his office treated me with compassion and respect. Faith, in particular, spent over an hour on the phone with me, listening to my story and showing genuine care. She made me feel heard at a time when I felt completely dismissed by the medical community.
My initial consultation with Dr. Steinsapir lasted four hours. He answered every question, explained everything in detail, and for the first time, I felt someone truly understood what had happened to my face. At the end of that visit, he accepted my case, and I was overjoyed.
He told me very clearly that the Morpheus laser I had been advised to do elsewhere would have worsened my facial gauntness. He recommended waiting until my Botox had completely worn off before proceeding with any filler. In December 2025, I returned and saw him for three separate, conservative treatment sessions, during which he carefully layered Restylane and Restylane Lyft.
I also received Dr. Steinsapir’s patented Botox treatment, which was performed with the same precision and care as everything else. At every single visit, Faith made me feel genuinely important, never rushed and never dismissed—something I had not experienced anywhere else during this ordeal.
By the third treatment, when Dr. Steinsapir showed me my before-and-after photos, I completely broke down and cried. I was overwhelmed—not only by how much better I looked, but by the emotional release of finally finding help after being rejected over and over again by so many surgeons. I honestly could not believe my good luck.
The results are nothing short of miraculous.
Using his patented microdrop technique, Dr. Steinsapir corrected my tear troughs, softened the double rings, repaired my jaw divot and chin, restored volume to my cheeks and temples, corrected a nose divot, and even improved one of my pixie ears. I look at least 10 years younger, and more importantly—I can smile again with confidence.
Dr. Steinsapir is not just highly skilled; he is an artist. He spends hours during each treatment, carefully maximizing results while remaining conservative and thoughtful. His knowledge and expertise surpass any surgeon I have encountered, and I say that as someone who has had multiple procedures over the years.
After everything I endured, I will never let another surgeon touch my face.
Dr. Steinsapir restored not just my appearance—but my confidence, my faith, and my joy.
