Badly Bruised Face After Under Eye Filler
I had under eye filler with Dr Steinsapir and his bedside manner was good and I felt comfortable with him but the procedure was a bust. I ended up having the filler dissolved 2 weeks later when the bruising finally subsided enough that I could go outside with concealer!
I emphasized multiple times to the Dr and his office manager that I have very sensitive skin and bruise very easily. He assured me that his experienced hands and delicate touch is what would prevent pain and bruising. WRONG! The procedure was moderately painful (I have a high pain tolerance) and I was pretty swollen by the end of it. The post-op bruising was so bad that I couldn't go out for over a week since it looked like I had been badly punched in the face.
Ended up having the filler dissolved with hy.acid and found another Dr that is more delicate, skilled, and I haven't bruised at all with the new doc. Additionally, Dr Steinsapir has you pay in cash (ACH) before he will schedule your procedure which I now know is a bit strange.
