Am pretty much healed from surgery #2. Can finally go in the hot tub or pool again. Still not able to wear a bra for more than a few hours, since it irritates my incisions. The good thing is I don't need one for support anymore. But I find myself layering clothes to be appropriate for work. It has been a long road, but feel that I am finally turning the corner.
Week 12
Had a wound dehiscence and surgical site infection under both breasts. This resulted in an in-office procedure to remove quill suture. 3 days later had significant swelling, and ended up in the hospital. Had an incision & drainage, and reclosure of both breast incisions, along with round-the-clock antibiotics. No more quill, closed with prolene on the exterior, and monocryl on the inside. Hopefully this does the trick. Another hospitalization, another recovery..feel like I have set the clock back to January again.

Still healing. Now using bio oil on the scars. Pain persists in side of left breast, and back of both arms. On the whole, things are looking up.

He has been outstanding ! I couldn't be more pleased with choosing him as my surgeon. I had a mommy makeover, which included a no vertical line mastopexy without implants, a mini-tummy tuck, from umbilicus down only, due to my previous long gallbladder scar, and liposuction of upper arms, flanks, and abdomen. In other mastopexy without implants photos I have seen, the breasts seem to lose a lot of upper pole fullness. With Dr. Shahs technique, I don't have that problem. He turned back the clock 20 years in one day. Truly amazing.
