WORTH IT$650
I'm still really liking the results. There is one blemish on my left cheek bone that is kind of hanging around I'm not sure if that will clear up or not. Otherwise it looks like the surface of my skin has completely healed where my treatments were. From the pictures I took I tried to get in direct sunlight and and accurate appearance of my natural skin tone without makeup. My pores are definitely smaller and my skin tone is more even then it was prior to the treatment. My skin is also a great deal smoother.I am very happy with the results and feel like things will keep improving over the next few weeks.I have had several other surgeries with Dr Huang. and she has never let me down. Her and her staff are excellent listeners and truly care about achieving desired results, while being realistic. Debi, the nurse who did my treatment was awesome... everything that happened to me, she warned me about.. I felt well informed even though the visuals were a bit shocking..

Almost "done"
I'm changing my review to "Worth It"...even with the pictures, I can see my skin is nearly 100% healed, after just 3 1/2 days. The nurse who did the treatment was confident, advised me properly and accurately described what would happen. The reality shocked me a bit...the darkening of skin, grid lines...etc. The best, was the vinegar and water. Doing that - very gently - during the healing process made a big difference.
Now that I'm nearly all healed, my skin is visibly smoother, even and more youthful looking. I am happy so far - and am looking forward to improving results over the next few months.

I haven't heard of the vinegar trick before, thank you for sharing. When IPL works great, like in your case, it is so cool to see photos of the being process. Looking good girl!

3rd night.. Sunday night after friday 330pm treatment
So things have improved a lot.. I have done 2 cycles of the vinegar and water mixture.. Patient sessions of soaking the gauze and then laying it over my face... Maybe for 5-30 seconds then repeating.. I use the gauze to gently wipe my skin.. Dead flakes are apparent and are beading up and washing away also.. Some small spots where it looks like the skin wasn't ready to shed, but I sloughed it off bled or became pink.. I was care file them spot treated those areas with neosporin hoping it would accelerate healing.. So far I'm improving by the hour..my pictures look different, but they were all taken within seconds of eachother, with same lighting.. Just different lighting.. I'm showing all so readers can see how lighting/angle can alter perspective.. The ones that look worst are the realistic view....

Amazing result! Keep us posted please. I'm Asian also and heard many bad stories of how laser treatment could backfire Asian skin since we have more pigmentation. I've been hesitated about laser and extremely skeptical about IPL eventhough I've done it 3 times. Your story is so encouraging! Please continue to update your review and tell us more of the journey :-)

I'm glad it worked out for you in the end, though I'm still surprised there were grid lines after the IPL. I've always been able to go back to work after IPL because it only targeted the dark spots. Still it sounds like the nurse knew what she was doing. Everyone is a little different.
