I battle a condition of my skin called melasma. When I was pregnant 14 years I looked like I had dirty cheeks. Since then my face has had brown patches of pigment. Over the years I have learned that I can't fix my melasma permanently, but can make it better with Hydroquinone , sunscreen and a hat. Although better it is still there. Halo is a new devise that can safely improve my melasma and sun damage. It has only been 5 days and my face looks amazing! The old pigment surfaced and flaked off. I am brighter and have better texture to my skin.

Dr Stacey Folk is amazing. What I love about her is her honesty and integrity. After a skin consultation she believed Halo was the safest and most economical treatment for my face. She numbed my skin and I was very comfortable during the treatment. My face was hot for a couple of hours after the treatment. I have experienced some swelling and itching after due to the sloughing of skin and inflammation. I took ibuprofen and Benadryl for comfort. I was able to resume regular activity the next day. I would suggest laying low for a few days until healed. At most this would be 5 days. A short amount of time for great results and the price! I will definitely continue my skin care and aging issues with Dr Folk.
