I am four weeks past my lower mini face lift. The good, my Jowls are gone and my wobble is also gone. Still some swelling under my chin. I am glad I did it! The first week, I wasn't so sure. The bad: My "smile lines" are now permanent not just when I smile I guess because the skin was pulled up. I had bruises until 3 days ago. They just disappeared, just wanted to share because I was able to stay in or I would have been embarrassed. The scare under my chin is much longer then I expected about 4 inches. My smile lines look a bit worse but the bottom of my face sure looks better. Good luck everyone!

My surgery was one week ago today. I was worried about what it would be like to have the stitches removed and it wasn't bad. They showed me photos from before the surgery and for the lst time, I am glad I did this. My cheeks are still swollen and very green and yellow with some purple. My neck is also very red and yellow. And I do know the wobble on my neck is gone! I could actually focus on this for the lst time today. Feeling happy!

I had those bagging jowls and the wobble under the chin. I have been think about this for maybe 6 years but didn't want to spend the money at the time. My surprises:
1. Make no mistake this is surgery! I have had three back surgeries so I thought if I could do that, I can do this. Pain was much more then expected the first 3 days. This is my 6th day and I still have a lot of pain behind my ears and only on my neck if I touch it. 2. I read from someone on here she didn't have swelling and bruising. I did, so you might. My right cheek is completely green and yellow, my neck is bruised on one side and getting better. Keep in mind, my surgery was last Wednesday and this is the Monday after. I haven't left the house because my bruising and swelling. 3. Lots of swelling, very very obvious. 4. My doctor said no ice, I wish I would have asked why. I do have the feeling back in my cheeks for the last several days and wished I would have put ice on my cheeks sooner. I am guessing they were worried about not feeling how cold the ice could be. 5. The other review said getting the stitches removed was easy, I have that done in two days and will update. 6. Day 3, 4 I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. There was no way I could have worked this first week, I am hoping next week I will look much better. I really wanted to write because for some reason, I thought this would be easier and it hasn't been. I am hoping in the next two weeks, I am thrilled I made this decision. I love this doctor and I believe he is very talented.
