It’s only been 5 weeks but so far I am thrilled with my results!! I must say, however, post-op Day 1 was not my happiest moment. As my dressings were removed, and I looked in the mirror, I literally almost cried, not from joy but instead disappointment. My breasts looked nothing like I had imagined they would. Dr. Campanile assured me they would take shape over the next few weeks and it would take six months to see the final outcome. I wish I had been prepared for the “first glance” moment, as that would have saved me a lot of anxiety, lol. As per usual, Dr. C was correct, and I am absolutely loving how my breasts are becoming softer and shapelier. My incisions are very thin and seem to have healed perfectly. I do have a crease in the middle of my cleavage but I’m sure as my breasts continue to soften/relax, and when I am given the okay to start massaging and applying scar cream, this will no longer be an issue. I will update after my three month checkup. Hopefully I can upload photos with this review. Realself has some glitches with this. If not I will try again on an update.

So my breasts have continued to soften up but the crease in cleavage is still present. When I saw my PS we did discuss a revision at 6 months if this is still present. Overall I am still very happy I had this done. I did go down one cup size and my shoulders/neck no longer bother me. I think he left most of the volume, but just bringing them up on my chest and off my stomach did wonders for my posture. I’ll post again after my revision, if needed, in 3 months.

Interesting that you lost a cup size from the lift. My PS was a little conservative with my reduction, I believe for this reason. Some people have size D breast tissue in a size DD package. What an amazing difference. Thx for the update.

Yes that’s exactly what happened to me. Was a DD now a D :)

Thanks for sharing. My experience is similar. I'm 2 weeks post op and while I definitely received a lift. New positioning, smaller nipple and perky cleavage. I still have volume and very happy with the results. Glad you like your new posture. Keep the RS community up-to-date on your healing process. All The Best!
