So, ugh. When will these damned things stop aching! I mean, it's not bad, but still it's annoying. I heard that muscular women feel it worse, and no I'm not a bodybuilder, but I do have a strong chest (just ask my trainer :)) So the pain: gentle massaging works best, so I can tell it's muscle pain. When I walk or they jiggle too much it's like when your arm wakes up after being asleep, mixed with how sensitive your skin is when you have a fever, and kinda achy like that too, like when you severely pull a muscle. So mix all that together. Again, it's not terrible, I'm taking an Advil when it gets too annoying, but still. At least I only very rarely get a sharp pain, had a few of those the first day. I guess bright side is I'm getting feeling back? And they're softening up :D
I looked at the incision, it's healing very nicely! Two spots, one under each breast, has a small scab. it's about 1/4 of an inch, both look great no redness or anything. Just a reminder that I'm still healing and to not rush things. I'll post photos in a little bit. Not much has changed, which is exactly what I want. I don't want any dropping! I do want softening, and I can see the inflammation going away. But time will tell. I'm totally happy with my results, I'm positive if I behave I'll heal just fine.

I had gone to two other doctors here in Denver to get a quote and I was disappointed with both of them. The first one is a VERY highly rated female doc, so I booked a consult. Well I got there day of, and did not even meet the doc! i had my consult with a nurse who had no idea what the doc would choose, lift or no, or shaped implants or no. Guess she is too busy to meet with prospective patients. Total waste of my time, plus the quote was for 11k! The 2nd doctor I liked better, at least I got to meet him, but he kept pushing me to get a breast lift as well. It really felt like he was just looking for additional things to do to make more money, it didn't really feel like he was looking out for my best interest. I contacted Dr Mouchantat almost on a whim as I already had another consultation with a different doctor with more reviews lined up for later in the month. His office was nearby and I liked his photos and he had great reviews, although only a few, but I figured why not! I am SO glad I did! His office is not spa-like, and I appreciate that. I don't need fancy offices, I need a good doctor. After my first meeting with him I knew he was the one I wanted doing my surgery. Very patient, answered all my questions, put up with my crazy sense of humor, and his post op results are really really REALLY good. Almost every single photo of his work that he showed me was exactly what I wanted my results to look like. And his rates were reasonable and in line with the norms for the area. What more could I ask for? The staff is also amazing. Very easy to get in touch with to coordinate things, and very knowledgeable and nice.

Hey girl, any updates?

Week and a day out

So the healing process has been pretty good so far. I've had very little real pain, although I can definitely say recovery is not the most comfortable thing in the universe. It aches and itches more than hurts. I've been walking because being sedentary is driving me nuts, but my boobs don't seem to like that so I'm going to lay off. I'm still sleeping on my back, usually I sleep on the side but obviously I don't want to screw things up. I'm getting used to it finally.
They're starting to soften up just a little bit and the swelling is definitely going down. I still don't have feeling in most of my breast but it's starting to come back. My nipples didn't work for the first two days it was kind of funny I would be freezing and my nipples wouldn't get hard! I know this is part of the healing process so I'm not worried about it at all. I'm still extremely happy with the results ??

So my boobs weren't terrible. I could look at them in the mirror and be okay with them (for my age). My issue was I couldn't find bras that fit! I had to have such a large cup to disguise how hollowed out the upper part of my breast was that they were just so uncomfortable. I work out pretty heavily but you can only build so much upper chest muscle without the rest of my breasts looking weird. I've been going back and forth on this for a really long time and decided that I'm just going to do it. I'm two days out and feeling really good right now. I took An anti-inflammatory and my antibiotic this morning and don't need pain pills. My breasts look amazing! I know they're going to change as a swelling goes down and things heal but the way they look right now I can tell that the outcome is going to be exactly what I wanted.

Perfect size. They look very natural and the shape is just right. Congratulations!
They look great and so natural! Even in post op and week one photo! Great choice!
They look great. I'm doing my research. My before is much like yours. I want a natural look. Are they silicone or saline? Under or over muscle? Where is ur incision?
