Lip lift

5 months post -op...everybody is saying I look younger and they all asked what’s the secret because there’s barely a scar or maybe because nobody knows that lip lift even exists. I’m glad I did this procedure even with my greatest fear of developing a keloid. I still go to Dr Amy Shu in Beverly Hills for my injections to prevent keloid formation. So far the scar is almost invisible... very happy I went to Dr Mascaro who doesn’t even know he’s that popular...

I flew out to Florida from L.A for the long awaited lip lift. I was very hesitant to have it done because I develop keloids easily and if I will have it at the center of my face, then the lift is not worth it and so I thought. Since I've seen a lot of pictures and excellent reviews on how majority of Dr Mascaro's patients were happy with their scars, I went ahead with the procedure.To encourage all of you guys who are contemplating on having the lip lift, the scar is all worth it. I did not wear a surgical mask from day 1 til now at 1 month. Nobody noticed that I had something done on my face. I went around Florida and nobody even gave me a weird look. There was very minimal pain and expected swelling only on the ist day especially on the lower lip with fat graft but i didn't have bruising. I asked him why his incision is barely visible and swelling is not as bad as other doctors have done. His answer was funny... he said because he passed pre-school and other doctors didnt...meaning he can incise exactly and follow the line of incision very well...Well, whatever technique he does, majority of his patients can attest that they are very happy with how their scars turned out. I have to have an extra care for my case with intra-OP injections for a possible keloid development and more injections on the incision site in the coming months.My scar right now at 1 month is barely visible with very slight redness which people don't even notice. If you read that Dr Mascaro and his staff are not very welcoming, please don't go there to be entertained.Go there for the excellent job he does. He doesn't need to flatter people for you to feel good but instead he gives you an excellent outcome for you to feel good about yourself. Dr Mascaro proves of his excellent work of art not by flattery but by the good results. He is very prompt in answering his texts. I was even amazed that he responded at 3 a.m because i forgot of the 3 hrs time difference. He always answers post -op care questions and concerns right away regardless of his very busy schedule. I don't know if he even sleeps at all... lol...Overall.... very happy with my decision to choose Dr Mascaro, very happy of my results and most importantly,very happy that I don't "look mad" anymore.....I give his whole team 10/10...I highly recommend Dr M. for his remarkable, unprecedented exceptional expert work of art= lip lift...Thank you...
