Closing Thread - 6 Weeks out Lip-Lift Review!
WORTH IT$2,000
My Dear Lady Friends, I'm all healed and the scar is so itty-bitty-teeny-weeny, no swelling, so I consider myself all healed! All of you have been the best added component of my Lip-lift journey! I can't send you all enough kudos for your comments of help, kindness, and support!
I will be posting New Threads in the future about any new cosmetic procedures I might have. I've already posted on Sculptra Aesthetics, Breast Augmentation and Perky Lip-lift procedure. (I might start a new one on a botched Inner-Thigh Lift I had even though it was back in Jan. of 2016. It was emotionally painful, now I feel better talking about it.) I'll see, what do you think?
So, in final analysis, lets see some side-by-side photos of this thread. Also, I am an avid weight trainer and recommend it as an adjunct to cosmetic work; it will definitely help keep you youthful and happy!
Chao beautiful women, never give up the search for inner or outer beauty! We are so worth it, and so much more! I love all of you, and I send my blessings to you and your families! xoxoxo
PS. Thanks so very kindly to RealSelf for enabling all of us to communicate, and share so deeply, from so far away each other! You've been a valuable resource for all of us!

Would love to get an update in a year to see if your 12mm upper lip distance is still holding. I found that after about 4 months or so, mine started to drop.
How many millimeters did your lip drop after 4 months? Is it still continuing to drop? My lip is 19 mm and I want to have it reduced to 12 mm but now I'm afraid that it'll drop so I'm thinking I should ask my future surgeon to reduce it to 11 or maybe even 10mm instead. Do you think that would be necessary?
Dreams who are you going to? I know you considered Talei but thought he was too expensive , so have you made a decision yet? BTY, not everyone's lip drops, but can be normal for it to drop one millimeter so most doctors will take that into consideration when doing surgery.
Also,
The last thing you want is for the doctor to take too much and then look like bugs bunny. It's always easier to go back and remove more but if too much is taken initially you are stuck for the rest of your life. I know someone who had too much taken and ended up having to get skin grafts to lengthen her lip and that turned out to be a disaster.,

Doc M told me mine would drop 1mm in time. That's minuscule and it will probably look even more natural then....

Mine started at 21mm then went up to 12mm and doc m said in time it would drop to 13mm. I'm comfortable with that! I don't think I look like bugs bunny neither!
You don't, you look perfect!!
Lostbeauty To be honest, I'm not sure who I'm going to go to. I'm still researching. I might end up having to save up money longer because my budget is currently only $3,000. Dr Mascaro is affordable but so far away. I'm in Los Angeles. I looked up flights and hotels (roundtrip and one night hotel) and found a package for only around $550 which I can afford but I'm so terrified of flying. I haven't been on an airplane since I was a little girl. I also have never planned a trip on my own so making arrangements kind of stresses me out. I don't know where I'd leave my car at the airport in LA, I don't know who would pick me up at the airport in Florida (taxi?) and drive me around town, I don't know where I'd eat, etc. I know it sounds silly but to me planning out all the small details is stressful since I suffer from anxiety.
Do you know of any good doctors in California or within driving distance (i.e. in Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Utah, or any other state within 1000 miles)?

Thanks for sharing your experience. I've been lurking for a while now but never left a comment. I'll miss seeing your updates. You had a really good result. Congrats and good luck with any future procedures you may have.
You look GREAT! Such a small procedure that can make a HUGE difference when done correctly. Dr. Mascaro clearly believes in the benefits of the procedure and does it extremely well. I'm still very pleased with mine. Had a delivery guy that comes to our office tell me the other day that my lips look so beautiful...Lol. I wonder why??? =) Enjoy your new look!
Thanks for the kudos and wowza that a stranger said that to you! hehe, that's great! I'm happy for you.....
Beautiful result.
You are kind, and that's sweet of you, thanks very much!

1 Month + 2 Days Out, more pleased!
Sorry ladies for the delays in post. First Hurricane Irma put a dint in our schedules, and I just got out of the hospital after 3 days. Nothing major, just vertigo issues. I'm ok now. One lady was asking for a smiling picture, so I'll add that too. I can barely see the teeny-weeny little scare now. No one would ever know talking up close to me. It's so nice!

My gosh you look like a thirty year old. Your skin looks amazing and of course, that smile is sooooo perfect. I bet you’re loving that lip lift!! Hopefully you are feeling better, and enjoying your new self. Rock on!!!
I am enjoying sweetie. I really want to thank you for all your support. It's been a fairly rough ride this month, but that's life. We must persevere, and never give up, no matter what! Something great always comes out of something terrible it seems. xo
I’m a firm believer that something good always comes out of something bad, too! I try to focus on that assumption! Be thankful that you’re ok now, and are a strong woman with a fierce mind!! You’ve come a long way, and worked hard for it, never give up! You really are an inspiration for all women. You do not look or act your age at all! What a role model you are !
Blessings, blessings, and a rain of blessings on you and yours!!
Omg you look like a movie star!
She really does! Hollywood glamorous, great smile! :)
Hollywood? Well thanks. I'm happy rdinca and Lostbeauty! xo
ypu look great very nice and wow seems you healed so fast
Thanks very much, this is one of the best cosmetic procedures I've done yet; too bad, they didn't have it 20 years ago! I recommend it for any woman with a long fulcrum!
Agree!!!!!!!!!
thx!
You look amazing! Srsly like 30! Thx for sharing.
It did seem to take some time off my face and balance it out better. I recommend it if you have a long fulcrum. Thx very much!

Day 17 NOT 21! lol!
Wow, my dates are all messed up. Anyway, today I had to see my regular doctor at Cleveland Clinic, and then go to LA Fitness next door. So, here I am with makeup on. The scar is really easy to hide with powder. I like it that it's relaxing a bit too! See you again soon!

Looks great! I would love to see a front view of a smile to see how your mouth moves now. Thanks.
My gosh, you clean up beautifully!!! Is this your final visit with the ps for your lip lift? What did he recommend for the vertical lines? Volbella? You can not see any siting of a scar. Looks amazing
hahaha, lol! It's amazing what makeup and hair can do, no? As far as a visit, I don't see him until the 20th. As I mentioned before. Me and doc already discussed the Erbium CO2 laser for around the mouth (peri-oral), and the chin for $1,300. That's next when he says it will be ok...........
It has made a huge difference. Great result.
Hi, thanks very much for the kudos! I'm looking forward to seeing him on the 20th! I'll keep everyone posted. I'm having so much fun with this! :-)
Hi, Is your scar still reddish?
Only slightly, and no one would notice, I think even without makeup they can't tell! Its a teeny, tiny one, and yours, how are you doing?
VaVaVoom! Looks great! It amazes what a lip lift can do to rejuvenate a woman....and make her look sexier when done correctly. Dr. Mascaro knows what he is doing! Enjoy, Flower!
