Lip Lift with Dr. Mascaro

I’ve always had a long philtrum, and I knew that a liplift could help me with that, but I had always been afraid of scars and therefore for a long time refrained from undergoing the procedure. Recently, however, I convinced myself to give it a try, and began looking for good doctors both in the US and Italy (my native country) who could do the procedure. Being Italian, I at first preferred doing the liplift in Italy, since it would be more convenient for me in terms of language and convenience, but after meeeting Dr. Mascaro I immediately knew he was the person for me. During his Skype consultation and email exchanges, he replied to all my questions, and even explained to me that fillers would not be a good idea for me, because of my thinnner lips. I told him I was looking for just a slight lift, without getting the “rabbit mouth” look, where the skin is lifted only in the middle. The day of the surgery I was very nervous, but once again I was struck by Dr Mascaro’s self confidence, deriving from his brilliant ability as a doctor, despite being still young. The procedure was painless, and the results were far superior to any of my expectations. The scars were gone after a few days, and the stitches were practically invisible. Now, after twelve days, the area looks perfect and completely natural. When I went back for stitch removal, I also asked him about doing a brow lift and blefaloplasty, but he suggested against that and instead did Botox, with amazing results, especially considering other doctors tried the same procedure with me with some not very good results. He is really a unique doctor who cares more about his patients than making money, and he is an amazing practitioner who isn’t full of himself like so many other “liplift wizards”... his staff was also extremely courteous and the nurses reassured me before the surgery - a young blonde nurse, whose name I can’t remember, especially gave me a lot of confidence before the surgery. Nurse Lisa, especially, was super patient with me, explaining everything despite my problems with English and giving me gauzes, writing all the generic names of each medicine and she gave frozen peas to put on the wound. I was cared for perfectly, and the attention to detail and care of Dr Mascaro was unforgettable.
