10 Years to Make This Decision
UPDATED FROM Lightpost90
Post OP Month 2
Chest still feels tight and I cannot do all movements with my arms/chest when it comes to exercise.
My scars appear more raised and darker even while using biocorneum 2x a day. I am also using bio oil but do not see any difference in appearance. The scars are feeling better while staying moisturized though.
My belly button shows the most improvement. This second month is my least favorite. Hopefully month 3 will get me closer to feeling like "me".

10 Years to Make This Decision
Once my diet and nutrition hit a peak level, I was left with breasts that could not fit an A cup and stomach skin that I would tuck into my bikini bottoms in a effort to look normal. I have had stretchmarks for so long that I thought I would get used to them, but ultimately, I had been coping all these years.
After meeting with Dr. Chasan, it was very easy to make the decision to proceed with this surgery. He listened to what I wanted and shared patient pics of those which were comparable to my lifestyle and body type.
I decided on under the muscle, high profile, round, gummy bear, lollipop incisions which resulted in 350 ccs and a full C, almost D.
Week 1: Hunched over because my skin was pulled so tight, my back caused more pain than my incisions. I could not stand for very long and used a walker every now and then. Once I was able to stand up straighter, I could see that Dr. Chasan had nearly removed all of my stretchmarks. I could tell that he made every effort to give me the best results. This is probably why my skin was pulled so tight. Worth it. -drain also came out 5 days post.
Week 2: Almost no pain in my stomach but my chest felt like I was carrying bricks. Sleeping was not comfortable and breathing was worse. Some nights I slept in a chair, some in bed with 5 pillows propping me up.
Week 3: Cleared to workout but I was getting depressed. I don't workout to lose weight, I workout to be the best athlete possible and walking on a treadmill at level 2 was killing me. I felt like I was getting fat. My diet was off and my sleep had not improved. Still sleeping upright.
Week 4: Tape was finally removed from my breasts and stomach. The incision was so tiny on my tummy. I had actually brought some bikini bottoms on surgery day but Dr. Chasan marked me up before I got to put them on. Last minute decision, I did a check of my bikini bottoms against the markings he made and he was spot on. Just another indication that he was the right doctor for me.
My next check up is one month from now. My hope is that my belly button starts to look better, I can move my chest muscles more and the swelling decreases. My chest still hurts at night and I can feel a pulling when I workout. I'm currently going through scar therapy with biocorneum, still wearing my binder but now I can do sprints at level 10.

Hey, may I ask how much you paid for your surgery?
