I showed my PS my wish pictures, as well as pictures of profiles and sizes that I didn't think suited me. I am 5'6 and 125 lbs and had lost volume after breastfeeding so was a B/C with no top volume at all. When I tried on the sizers I was leaning more towards the 339 cc moderate plus (it was an odd number like that), my PS was thinking more along the lines of the 371 cc moderate plus, but said he would make the final decision in the operating room once he could see them in. As it turns out, my chest wall was more sunken in on one side, so he had to use different sized implant to make it balanced. He ended up going with 350 high profile in one and 400 high profile in the other. He used Natrelle silicone implants. I love the results and had complete trust in my doctor and he did exactly what I was hoping for. The right side in the pictures is the one with 400 cc.

Thanks! I was actually going to send you a note today asking about your experience with pain. Curious about your experience. I stopped the percocet at day 7 because I didn't want to take them for too long, I got the go ahead to use Motrin and I take 2 regular strength motrin about 3 times a day. All I really feel is that it kind of feels like the feeling of a pulled muscle in my chest. Things got a little more tender once they had me start the massage on Monday, I just noticed a little more muscle soreness feeling. Just wondering if you went through anything similar? I was really expecting things to be much more uncomfortable. I really only had one bad morning with pain because I skipped a dose overnight in the beginning.

I was actually in a lot of pain for the first couple of days after surgery so I was taking 2 Percocet pills every 3-4 hours. I ran out of Percocet on day 2 post op and had to switch to Tylenol because I wasn't cleared to take ibuprofen yet. My whole chest was very tight for the first week or so and it felt like the muscles were constantly flexed and wouldn't relax. I don't really remember being more sore once I started massaging. The way my PS showed me to massage isn't an actual massage though. I just need to manipulate the implant so that it moves freely in the pocket. So I squeeze from the bottom, then push in from the sides and squeeze at the top.

That sounds like the same "massage" technique they are having me do, and when I say "more sore" it isn't horrible. I'm actually going to stop the motrin this week, I just wanted to get a day or 2 past the massage part in case it caused more discomfort. I'll just be hitting the 2 week mark this Friday. I remember telling my husband right before surgery: I just want to be 2 weeks post-op. Almost there, and grateful things weren't as bad as I had anticipated.

Thanks. I had almost forgotten I had it since I wasn't all that excited to wear it before. Since I used it in a before picture, I was curious to see how it looked after.

Day 8

Well, this bikini top is what I started with for pics, so for consistency, I'll keep using it - though I will probably be so sick of it, I won't ever wear it again. ;-)

Sunday night update

somethingformesd
OK, so Sunday I felt good enough to have Tylenol during the day while sitting quietly with a group of neighbors at a friends birthday party. I had taken 1 Percocet at 8am , Tylenol later in the afternoon and was going to take just 1 more Percocet at bedtime and try to have Tylenol if I awoke in the middle of the night. Long story short, the Tylenol didn't cut it for me in the middle of the night. It seems I can manage the pain with Tylenol during the day, but still need a bit stronger during the night. Will try to cut back again a bit tonight. Thankfully the pan has felt very manageable so far.

Its going to be exciting to see your results in that same bikini top at 1 week, 2 week and so on. It amazes me how much they change.

They waiting has at least kept me from spending money. ;-) I can't wait to shop, but don't want to waste money on things that might not fit well after a few weeks.

Before surgery, I bought 2 stretchy lace lingerie tops, just so I could get a before picture and an after picture. I didn't pay a lot for them, I went to the thrift store. I cant wait to try them on. I have to wait a bit, I am 18 days post-op and my nipples are to sensitive right now to be playing with them. lol. But soon :)
