He did not deliver the promised results and left me with painful scars

My experience with surgical procedures performed by Dr. Blackledge on September 21, 2023 and May 25,2024 ( revision)

During the initial surgery, which lasted less than 1.5 hours, incisions were left open, requiring wound closure by another doctor. My sutures were infected - and I was an antibiotics for a month. I was in significant pain for a month, needing narcotics, and continued to rely on Advil 800 for four months after . The deep plane cheek lift and neck lift performed did not deliver the promised results, leaving me with hypertrophic, painful scars that appear botched.

Despite expressing my concerns and requesting a refund, I was offered a revision surgery, which I underwent hoping for improvement. However, this revision took only 25-30 minutes and left my scars in an even worse state. I am now dealing with constant headaches and persistent soreness in my head and neck area.

I am also deeply concerned about the clinic's infection control procedures . During the surgery, I was not provided proper surgical attire and was left wearing the clothes I arrived, both times

In addition to these issues, I feel that Dr. Blackledge has been dishonest and misleading in several aspects:

I requested stitches, but he used staples instead.

He perforated my skin on one side on my neck and falsely claimed it was muscle bruising more than once when questioned about the vertical scar on my neck.

He continues to gaslight me about my healing process, despite the severe scars.

He claimed the surgery was a deep plane procedure, which is highly unlikely given the short duration of the operation.

I am aware of multiple women with similar scars, indicating a pattern of sloppy work, negligence and unsatisfactory results.

The significant scarring appears to be due to excessive tension placed on the skin without adequate muscle support since he doesn’t actually do a deep plane.

The results of these surgeries have profoundly impacted my quality of life and mental health. I am left with disfiguring scars and have endured immense physical and emotional distress.
