I don’t think it’s possible to truly express my joy and gratitude to Dr Mark Glasgold. For the past 2 years I barely recognized myself in the mirror, but since my facelift with Dr Mark, I look like my younger self again and my confidence has been boosted in both my personal and professional life.
I have an art degree and I have a very critical eye with regards to beauty, proportion, symmetry and overall aesthetics. I did a lot of research over a 2 year period and ultimately had consultations with 5 different plastic surgeons, all of whom specialize in, and only perform surgery on the face. All of these doctors were out of state, and my primary criteria was the quality of work (before and after photos), as well as the number of surgeries performed (specifically true, deep plane facelifts with fat transfer, eyes, etc).
Every surgeon brings their own aesthetics into the procedure. It can be subtle, but it does make a difference in the outcome. What I responded to in Dr Mark’s work is that it’s rooted in a classic, timeless beauty that is tailored to each patient. Some of the other surgeons I met with wanted to do one or 2 additional procedures that I’m sure would have been ok, but they also would have made me look less like myself. On the other hand, Dr Mark took the uniqueness of my face into account and included a procedure that no one else recommended, (and something I hadn't considered) and ultimately that’s what my face needed for a final touch of added elegance. I feel incredibly beautiful and I can confidently say I look 15 - 20 years younger!
I highly recommend Dr Mark Glasgold to anyone looking for a beautiful facelift, and a great experience. My anesthesiologist was very compassionate and spoke with me before and after the procedure. My recovery was surprisingly rapid - I ate a low salt, raw vegan diet my first 2 weeks, and I continued watching my salt intake for an additional 2 months. I looked great and was out and about 16 days after surgery! I never experienced pain, only minor swelling/pressure & a little discomfort behind my ears in the few days before those stitches were removed. I’m currently 6 months post-op and the scars (which were never really noticeable) are gone (I did use a silicone gel with sunscreen starting at about 14 days after the surgery).
Dr Mark is very kind, attentive and truly focused on his patient as a unique individual. If I had a choice I would do this all over again and the only thing I would change is that I wish I did it sooner!
