Are you unhappy with the lip lift?
Very! Best decision ever. Worst decision was not getting my eyes done...wink
Im sorry, you said unhappy.. not at all! Love it.
I was planning the same procedures but my surgeons advised against lip lift. He said the scar will always be stretched during talking and other mouth movements. He also said the lift will be pronounced only for a month or two and the lip will return to the original position with about 1-2 mm of lift. He is saying the scar doesn't worth 1-2 mm of lift. How are you doing now, after almost a year post your procedures?
What your Dr. said above is a Dr. who doesn't know how to do lip lifts. They are no longer skin only lifts. It involves muscle now. If you have an extremely long Philtrum and want a lip lift, go find a Dr. who is a specialist in the procedure. If your Dr. did them and his lifts dropped after 2 months, thank God he stopped doing them. He must know his limitations.
Honestly .. great! No regrets. I can Honestly say, if you have doubts, then its a no... im not that detailed of a person, so this tiny line under my nose was worth it. I would ABSOLUTELY do it again... I love my face lift, but the lip brought things to a new level. Hope that helps
you have a good point. Thank you!
this is a nerve-racking decision for me :-). This site is so helpful. Anyway, tI decided to go with low face lift. Although I have been thinking about a lip lift but I don't think I will proceed with it now. Maybe the face lift will be enough. I really appreciate all your updates on your surgery. You made right decisions and the result is amazing!
It's such a personal decision, and I completely understand. Honestly, you don't have to make your final decision til the day of. Right before the procedure you have a nice chunk of time to talk, and go over everything. He finally gets to see you, and that's the perfect time to ask his professional opinion. Trust me, I was a nervous wreck! Ive done small tweaks to my face before, but I've ALWAYS met in person. I really had to trust, and thats scary It! It was this crazy leap of faith! But one I will not regret. Good luck, and I promise you will make the right decision
You look gorgeous
Thank you

Lip lift

I have had some women curious about my lip lift, and wanted to add a picture. On the left, morning of my surgery, and the right was taken today. My recovery was fairly easy, without any complications. The only minor issue I'm having is with the face masks... working 10 hour days the heat from my breath is causing me to break out a bit. ( nothing serious but wanted to mention it)

Wow you cant see a lip lift scar. Did you find that you are able to smile fully like before surgery and did your nostrils go back to their original shape after the lip lift?
My friends are still amazed from my lips. Its crazy that the smallest change can make the biggest impact.
Thank you for the new picture. Your lips look so pretty and utterly natural. I see no evidence of a scar at all.
There is a scar, but when I took the picture, I wanted the visual from the Before & After to be similar. If I were to lift my neck up slightly, take a picture.. it its visible.. but a tad of makeup seems to do the trick
You look amazing. I thought Dr H only did lower face/neck lift. Why did you decide on a deep plane lift versus lower face lift? Were you given an option ? Also how long did the surgery take?

7 week post-op

Hi Everyone,
Sorry it took this long to post my progress, but 2 weeks after my lift I was called back to work. Yugh!
So.... so far so good! I'm loving my results, and zero regrets. The recovery wasn't as bad as I thought, and with everyone having to wear masks, it was easy to get out without drawing attention.
Best part... getting the stitches out... "That was a great day" it wasn't painful, I was just over it. Worst part, the new normal of sleeping. ( but that also is much better) Lastly,
I wanted to say a big thank you to all the people who posted here. If it wasn't for there full disclosure, and there willingness to share I would never have found Dr Harley.

At 2 months still on the honeymoon period were swelling makes you look younger. Please keep posting as the months go by and your face changes. In the same light of course. Thanks
You look incredible! Thank you for sharing your update.
You look fabulous! How much was it overall for you?
You look amazing! Would you mind posting close ups of the lip lift? Has recovery been painful?
Your results are absolutely incredible. So natural but it took 20 years off your face. Thanks for sharing your results. I'm still wowed by how wonderful you look (not that you looked bad to begin with)
