Deep plane face and neck lift - given me my youthful appearance back

I am in my early 60's and decided that my face did not reflect how I felt on the inside. I had noticed jowling and sagging on my face and neck. I opted to look at the Deep Plane Facelift and to have Neck lift.
After a lot of research, I chose Mr Mattine. I looked at the before and after photos of this procedure of Deep Pane Face Lift and it was exactly the look that I was after, which looks natural. I travelled from Halifax in Yorkshire to Birmingham which is quite a distance but felt it was a necessary journey to undertake if I wanted the best surgeon
Mr Mattine on the initial consultation made me feel comfortable and informed. He explained everything clearly – what a face and neck lift could realistically achieve, and what the scars would look like. No pressure just honest advice.
I opted for twilight surgery and Mr Mattine and his staff were very calming and professional. The surgery went very smoothly, and I went home the same day with instructions for recovery.
I did find the pain post-surgery was quite a lot more than I had anticipated, and the first two weeks were the toughest with a lot of swelling and bruising. I did opt to hire a cooling face mask from Hilotherm along as wearing a compression garment and keeping my head elevated All of this was highly beneficial and made a big difference. By the 4-6 weeks I could really see my face and neck taking shape.
I did take Mr Mattines advice and wear the surgical compression garment for longer than necessary to ensure I got the best results for my neck and face lift. The bruising did take quite a long time to settle, but I do bruise easily. To help with this I did take Arnica drops.
6 months later and I was more than happy with the results. No one suspects that I have had cosmetic surgery, which is exactly what I wanted. My jawline is defined, and the sagging skin has gone. My face feels more like it used to. I am ecstatic with the results.
I went back to Mr Mattine after a period of time when everything was settled for a brow lift and lip lift. This was done under local anaesthetic. I hired the Hilotherm cooling face mask which made a big difference in keeping the bruising down. The scars have been hidden in my hairline, and the crease of my nose so are not visible. I feel like I have the face back which had gradually been disappearing due to my age.
I highly recommend Mr. Mattine for this procedure, it is long lasting and natural. He and his staff were amazing.
