My Personal Experience with the Surgical Procedures
WORTH IT
Pictures just before surgery , no make up . The neck looks much better , and with out comparing pictures you can’t really see I had my lip done , which I love , my eyes are back to normal, still puffy and swollen under eyes not sure why it takes that long to heal . I’ll see dr Cakmak in few months for a follow up . Otherwise I look pretty much like before. I think. And this is what I wanted.

I had my surgery with dr.Cakmak on Dec 20th . I waited until I felt like myself again, and now I want to give back sharing my experience.
This forum and most of people here are such an amazing tool , help and support .
Special thank you to raypav here , she is dr . Cakmak patient as well , such an amazing human being helping and encouraging me when I felt the worst!
Choosing dr.Cakmak was a great decision.
I’m researching on this for about 5 years. Consulted the best doctors in Toronto , flew to Mexico and South Korea to consult more . Narrowed the list to South Korea and turkey , the doctor in SK didn’t operate faces anymore so started my search in Turkey . So lucky to find dr.Cakmak . Many reviews here are very detailed and already spoke about this and I want to join about how amazing he is . His knowledge, credentials, passion , professionalism, manners , warmth, personality, anything you need from a doctor . From the beginning the communication was amazing, 2 zoom meetings, Aycha , the doctor patients manager is the best!
Flew there, first consult, all the transportation arranged , tests before surgery.
Surgery day is difficult but the doctor was there , just looking at him gave me comfort . Woke up after surgery , dr.Cakmak was there as well first person to see .
The surgery night is tough but the hospital is first class , lots of nurses all over and even with the language barrier they still take care of everything. Next day the doctor came back , removed bandages and drains , get checked out and transferred to the hotel .
I was alone and had difficult moments for the next week in Istanbul but the doctor was just a call away. Day and night he answered to my messages, I remember one day he faced time me from the surgery room .
I really can’t say enough about dr.Cakmak !!
Aycha arranged all my transportation back to the airport and she was taking care of everything.
I stayed at Broyt hotel which is literally one block from the doctor office and I really liked this boutique hotel very clean with great people.
In all honesty I didn’t like my next 2 months . I didn’t like my face , too wide too big , my eyes looked weird , all this because of swelling. I had continuously the doctor calls and encouragement and girls here telling me the things will get better, trust the doctor, be patient with the process . I liked myself before , I didn’t do that to change a thing, I just didn’t want my sagging neck and wanted a slight refreshment of my face . So was very difficult to see this person who didn’t look like me every day in the mirror.
I had done deep plane face neck , temporal brow lift, lower blepharoplasty , fat injection and lip lift . So normal for a longer time to heal . But I’m not a patient person .
And slowly started to get better . So now two months later , as you can see between my first picture before and the last ones after ,is me again with a tighter neck .
The incisions are great , not too visible already . But the healing is not over . Still some pains when I touch my eyebrows , around my ears , still swelling under my eyes on top of my cheeks and the most annoying thing, the top of my head is still numb and so itchy and feels so weird . I understood it will take a while to get all the feeling back, if all .
Some people think I look younger , I don’t want that , I was looking younger for my age even before surgery , so I didn’t look for that . I think the results are natural , more important is to have a healthy realistic view , to have a capable doctor that doesn’t damage things , to heal properly.
And again , trust the doctor, you will be in great hands !

The very first one is also before , I put the comment ,just to compare with the next 9 after . I wanted to show that before and after, first and second I look pretty much same , which was my main goal .
