Highly Recommend Dr. Johnny Mao!!

Adding another photo to get a different perspective. I did have chin liposuction in addition to the face lift and neck lift to address the fat underneath my chin. It looks like I lost weight, but I didn't!

After years (and spending thousands of dollars) trying various non-invasive techniques to address my aging and wrinkled neck, I made the decision to get a consultation for a neck lift. I found Dr. Mao as a result of seeing Dr. Restifo (for a different unrelated procedure), who shares an office space with him.
It can be a very intimidating to see a surgeon to address facial issues. I did not want to change how I looked, per se. I simply wanted to address my wrinkles and sagging chin. Dr. Mao immediately put me at ease and listened to me. He explained the various options (neck lift vs. deep plane facelift and neck lift) and told me what I could expect in terms of results.
I went back in forth in my mind as to whether I should spend the money and I was scared I would look "done". I had undergone the Profound RF procedure (by a different plastic surgeon that did not specialize in facial procedures) in February and it was a complete waste of both time and money. It did not address any of the issues I had. It was very expensive and I had 2 full weeks of downtime. So I was a bit scared to do another procedure and spend more time and money only to be disappointed.
In the end, I decided to move forward with the deep plane face lift and neck lift. The results are beyond my expectations. I sent my husband the before and 8-week post-op pics and he responded that the results are "shockingly amazing". I feel and look years younger.
I can't say enough good things about both Dr. Mao and Dr. Restifo. I would absolutely refer either surgeon to anyone considering facial or body procedures.
