I am now 6 months post-op from a face and neck lift with Dr. Fuentes and I regret not listening to my gut.
At the one-month mark I already noticed significant crepiness returning on my neck. The skin looks loose and wrinkled again in a way that was supposed to be improved. My eyes remain hooded exactly as it was before surgery. Dr. Fuentes talked me out of adding a brow lift, insisting the face/neck lift and upper blepharoplasty alone would address it. It did not.
When I raised these concerns he stopped replying. No follow-up, no acknowledgment, nothing. Communication completely shut down the moment I expressed dissatisfaction.
I went in hoping for a meaningful improvement in the lower face/neck and some help with the hooded eyes. Instead I’m left with residual neck crepiness, an unchanged hooded eyes, and a surgeon who ghosted me once the results weren’t what was promised.
Sharing this so others can factor it into their research. Results and aftercare communication matter.

Face/Neck Lift
I recently underwent a deep plane face and neck lift with upper blepharoplasty at Vida Clinic in Tijuana, performed by the exceptional Dr. Fuentes. Dr. Fuentes is a gentle and skilled surgeon who ensured that I had minimal swelling and virtually no bruising. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
The entire process, from booking to my return flight to the East Coast, was smooth and well-organized by Dr. Fuentes’ team. I traveled alone and never felt unsafe or neglected. I stayed for six nights at the recovery boutique and four nights at Marriott, but I honestly believe I should have stayed at the recovery boutique for the entire recovery period.
The nurses at the recovery boutique provided excellent care, and everyone spoke English. All the positive reviews I’ve read about the clinic are true. Dr. Fuentes has a solid reputation, and I have no doubts about coming here again. You are in good hands at Vida.
