A surgeon from God and I am forever grateful to Dr. Cakmak and his team at Face Istanbul as I could not be happier with my results!!!
My experience with Dr. Cakmak and his team was nothing short of INCREDIBLE and the result has been life changing and a lot more than I expected.
I had several procedures completed by Dr. Cakmak, including deep plane neck and facelift, fat grafting, lip lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, endoscopic brow and temporal lift.
Prior to surgery, I’ve spent close to a year researching for the right surgeon who would understand my concerns and be able to recommend and perform just the right procedures needed to achieve my rejuvenation goals. Finding the absolute best surgeon was critical. Several of my friends have had surgeries done in the past and they weren’t at all happy with their results. So, making the right choice of a surgeon was the most crucial part of the process for me personally. I spent many sleepless nights doing research. I was more terrified of choosing the wrong surgeon than the surgery itself and therefore, I have done an enormous amount of research, and definitely more than your average patient. I methodically looked for doctors in US, Canada, and Turkey, thoroughly reviewed hundreds of profiles. I’ve met with 11 doctors in total including top 4 plastic surgeons in Toronto, Canada. I had several consultations with each one of these surgeons, both virtually and in person. It’s not until I met with Dr. Cakmak that I finally knew I have found my surgeon.
Also, worth mentioning that I was looking for a surgeon who specializes strictly in facial surgery and nothing else. I was also looking for a surgeon who is a proven expert in a field of deep plane facial surgery as I wanted a true deep plane which few doctors specialize in. You’ll know what I mean If you’ve done your research. Dr. Ozcan is it! His extensive experience and impressive credentials speak for themselves!
Dr. Cakmak is truly a master of his craft! He is more than a surgeon; he is a surgical artist with a meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, he is an extremely kind, calm, confident, humble and a compassionate doctor. His bedside manner is impeccable. Dr. Cakmak truly cares about his patients. His front staff is equally incredible: very kind, gentle, while at the same time highly efficient and prompt with responses. They did a great job taking care of me before, during and after my surgery. There was absolutely no pressure of any kind. They don’t rush you; they don’t push you into any decisions. It’s a process that is based on mutual trust and I loved it! I just have to say a few words about the office assistant Aycha, who is the sweetest, kind and helpful partner to help guide you through the process. I felt so at ease and not only because she is so kind and prompt to reply, but it’s also about the quality of responses compared to my experience with other clinics. She is highly knowledgeable, and an effective communicator which is critical when doing this type of surgery. Aycha was sort of my guide from the moment I reached out to the clinic. We quickly developed the kind of rapport where I felt like I’ve known her forever. I will never forget the moment I came in for my last appointment to remove stitches. I just kept crying and hugging Aycha overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. My long journey was finally over with the best imaginable results! I am just very grateful for my results and the experience that I had with Dr. Ozcan and his team. We consider them a family now.
A few words of gratitude to the nurses at Acibadem Kadikoy hospital for your truly genuine care and compassion. If only I could give each one of you a hug. These ladies go above and beyond! The hospital is a state-of-the-art facility and my room felt more like Four Seasons. The quality of post-op care is top notch! I was sent home with everything that I needed and there was frequent follow up with the doctor.
Recovery from surgery was much better than I expected. I’ve done my research and knew exactly what to expect. My real down time was only 2 days. Minor bruising and swelling, which is absolutely expected. The incisions around the eyes were barely visible from Day 1, especially on the lower eye lids, I couldn’t even tell where they were at first. On day 3, I was out enjoying the city of Istanbul. It’s only been 13 days since my surgery, but the incisions around my ears and hairline are hardly noticeable, which is a true testament to the doctor’s skills and experience. Despite of undergoing all these extensive procedures, I was able to return to work on the 12th day after the surgery, which is awesome!! I was hoping to shake off 10 years, but I easily look 15 if not 20 years younger and it’s not an exaggeration.
Having this surgery was a huge decision for me. After all, I’ve met several people whose lives have been ruined. Throughout this past year leading up to surgery, I was quite worried, and very anxious at times. After meeting with Dr. Ozcan I suddenly felt at ease and confident going into surgery. Now that I look back, all those worries, and doubts were for nothing since I ended up in the hands of Dr. Cakmak. I am glad I found the courage to proceed with the surgery. It changed my life. If you have realistic expectations and know exactly what you want, there is nothing to worry about. Please, trust Dr. Cakmak’s advice and follow his recommendations, he has an amazing eye for aesthetic. I am glad I did.
To sum it all up, I don’t have enough words to describe my gratitude. I thank God every day for guiding me to Dr. Cakmak.

The cost will depend on your individual needs and how much work you want done. He is a phenomenal surgeon and I am very happy with my results. Good luck!
