WORTH IT
One of the best decisions I made for myself was choosing Dr. Valdez and traveling to Mexico for my deep plane facelift surgery.
Dr. Valdez is an attentive, caring, and highly skilled surgeon. His excellent bedside manner is matched by his surgical expertise and thoughtful approach. Before the surgery, he took the time to explain everything thoroughly, took numerous photos, and carefully planned every detail. He immediately put me at ease and made me feel comfortable throughout the process, patiently answering my many — sometimes repetitive — questions. I genuinely enjoyed interacting with him, and trusting him came naturally.
I’m only 3 weeks post-op and still have a bit of swelling, but I already love my results. I look like myself from 15–20 years ago — refreshed, natural, and not overdone. The scars around my ears are well hidden and minimal; I’m honestly thrilled because I didn’t expected them to look this good so early on.
I arrived in Mexico feeling nervous and expecting to be stressed the entire time, but my experience was the opposite. From the moment I was picked up at the airport until the very end of my stay, everything was exactly as described in my contract. I felt safe, cared for, and, most importantly, that my well-being truly mattered. Dr. Valdez and his team took exceptional care of me, made me feel comfortable from day one, and provided top-notch support throughout my recovery. Dr. Valdez even personally checked on me after I returned home.
I honestly don’t believe I would have received this level of care in Canada — not even close — and it would have cost at least twice as much.
Overall, I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Valdez and his team. I would do it again in a heartbeat. And as a side note: Mexico felt very safe, and I have absolutely no regrets about going.
