Decided that I needed or wanted an improvement in my eye bags. So I had transconjuntive Bleph in lower eyelids and skin resurfacing in that area also, Consultation went well and decided to add Juvaderm lip injections and some botox.
. Just had my procedure this morning and all went well. I am icing and following cleaning instructions, pain not bad. Will update as I move forward.

Lower Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty, Laser Resurfacing and 1st time Juvaderm lip injections

Today is Day 4.... More involved and uncomfortable than I originally expected. Looks bruised, bloody and raw under eyes. Eyes are blurry and full of gunk, and sore. There is a protocol for cleansing the face and eyes 4 times a day, which does make a big difference, and following instructions to the letter. As my skin is repairing it is so tight I can barely open my mouth, feels like my cheeks will crack. I am new at lip injections, they are very bruised, lumpy, swollen and feel uneven. I understand the bruising and swelling will resolve itself, but worried I need more injections to even them out. If they look like this every time, I may have to rethink this lip pout I've always wanted. I will add additional photos. I read somewhere that by this stage in healing you are wondering why did I do this.... that is where I am at! Can't wait to be healed and think, oh that wasn't so bad.

Did your doctor tell you that you can put very dilute vinegar compresses on the laser part of your face?? When I had Co2, doc said open a bottle of water, pour out a little of the water and put 1 tsp white vinegar in. Shake it up then you can pour this mixture onto gauze and lay it across your face where it's tight. Then after a few minutes, put Aquaphor on it... Wishing you fast healing and a great result!!

Yes, part of my routine is the diluted vinegar compresses, then the Aquaphor. With the lower bleph in addition to all this, my eyes are swollen, red, sore & leaking...yukk. Like having pink eye, have eye wash & drops for that as well. Seeing slow progress, staying positive that it all will be healed soon. Thank you so much for your advise, it means a lot.

I'm scheduled for upper and lower on June 27. I'm really nervous about it. But my eyes look so old and droopy right now so I want this done, I just hope I get good results!!! I've not had the best of luck when it comes to procedures. Yes please do keep us posted on your healing :)

Are they doing a traditional bleph or transconjunctival on lower? I opted for the latter because I was doing lowers only, and doctor said that was what he preferred. Pro : So I gained no visible incisions Con: skin had to be tightened under with laser... ouch!!! You sound like me, I get these big ideas, spend 2 years researching & saving money, then end up with a problem needing a revision. Nothing is ever as perfect as the photos on the websites. That's why I wanted to give an honest review with the ugly photos included.

I'm getting transcutaneous on lowers because he said I have a lot of skin (I can see it and it's crepe texture) so he is removing skin and also tightening up the muscle under my eye, repositioning fat pads and draping the muscle over them then tacking muscle to outer bone!! It sounds awful and I don't really even want to know these things in detail, but he seems pretty thorough in explaining the procedures. I'm getting lipo on my stomach too. I had it about 15 years ago and was left with some dips and bulges. Hopefully this guy can fix and not make worse!! We all appreciate your honest review. I had Co2 under my eyes last year to try and tighten the skin... But there is only so much laser can do. In my case I do think the underlying muscle needs to be addressed. Yes I do over think and over research, and usually still end up in a mess!! Another lady on here from Texas got her upper/lower lid surgery off of Groupon!!! She knew nothing about the doc or what technique he would be using and she look fabulous!!!

I got Juvederm in my lips for the first time last week. Went back this week for a little more. It feels really big but no bruising or swelling to speak of... Look forward to your progress pics :)

Glad you didn't get the bruising. I actually had this done under sedation with my lower lid surgery... so I did not get to see or give feedback. Yes, working on getting my pics added to this. Hopefully it will help those researching...
