I am a 5'8" - 133lb. 27 year old mother of 2 amazing children! A 4 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. I have a full time job working in an office setting. I also have a fun job on the side! I do personal training in the morning before I go to my office Job and after I get off in the afternoon! I love teaching people how to be healthy and aid in their path to a healthy lifestyle change. When I married my husband 6 years ago I was about 127 lbs. with a big C or little D cup. When pregnant with my kids I gained too much weight. Then I found my passion for health and nutrition and worked my butt off with eating clean and working out on a regular basis. (Pretty sure my wedding picture and wanting to teach my kiddos a healthy lifestyle had something to do with it!) With that- my love for exercise developed and I went back to college and became a personal trainer. Anywhoooo- now I have some nice extra skin and a stomach FULL of stretch marks to walk around with. Very frustrating being a trainer and no one knows what's really under these clothes. I feel like no matter how hard I worked or how clean I eat- I have nothing to show for it. I hate having to make sure my pants are pulled up soon far so I don't have the upper belly bulge. I am scheduled for a Full TT, breast lift (no implant), contouring lipo to flanks, abs. Lipo on saddlebags! I am SOOO nervous- I have never been "out" for this long of a surgery(5hrs) and I can't stop thinking about blood clots or the negative side affects (thinking this is because I worry about my kiddos and hubby). I have my pre-op appointment this coming Tuesday, August 6th. Shouldn't I be getting lab work done before the pre-op appointment? Anxious about spending this kind of money on myself! Any one know of or had any experience with Dr. Steven Schmidt from Dayton/Kettering, Ohio?!

Blood Work
OHTMomAugust 1, 2013
FYI- I failed to mention previously- my babies were delivered via cesarean.
I called the Dr's office today to ask about blood work requirements. the nurse I spoke to told me that blood work is NOT required because of my healthy history and age. But I am asking for blood work orders any ways just to help me personally feel more at ease. :-)

If it's not too late don't utilize Dr Schmidt! He thinks he's God however, the quality of his work if not top notch & he's overpriced. Also if you rate your experience with him on Google and it's not positive he has it removed the next day

Pre-Op Yesterday 8/6/13
OHTMomAugust 7, 2013
I had my pre-op appointment yesterday afternoon - The payment part was interesting to swallow - difficult spending this kind of money on myself. But as I commented below I just keep telling myself I deserve this! We had a bit of a 30 minute delay due to other patients not wanting to return for pre-op appointments. Once in the room - it was FANTASTIC - My nurse was SO down to earth and informative. I had a bunch of questions and she explained every thing so thoroughly. Made me feel a lot more comfortable with my procedure as a whole. I am going today 8/7 - for some basic blood work. Just to make myself feel better - not required by the doctor.
