I knew from that first day pic that your results would be awesome! So happy for you!! and thanks for keeping us posted!

Very nice Ohio mom! Believe it or not I was thinking if visiting your review couple days ago to check ;-)! You look great! We all knew you would since you were great going into it! Long frame no fat just skin :-). Ideal! I got my TT done finally after months of following yours and others :-). Now healing. Howz your swelling if any? Looks like you never really had much!!!
December 22, 2013
How is your recovery going?!? Happy with your results so far?! Swelling isn't bad at all- BUT I still swell a little throughout he day. Of course first thing out of bed is the best looking/most flat. Comparing swelling now to at the beginning of recovery- huge difference- I had plenty. Perhaps it was one of those things only I could really notice in my own body. The only thing that really bothers me yet is running (awkward pain type bruised feeling when I and doing the movement) and my breast incisions- sensitive with underwires or laying a certain way one them. Nothing at all that would keep me from saying I would do it all over again in a heart beat! :-)

Sorry for the incorrect spelled words. Darn autocorrect.

Wow you look amazing girl!!! How was that second procedure? My dr wants to do that with mine as well a d said it would be an in the office procedure... Was yours done in the doctors office? Did you have to take time off from work or exercising?? Really terrific results!!!
December 20, 2013
Thanks! And I say DO the second procedure if necessary. It was cake- no time off work or exercising really and I do personal training. Just watched lifting for the first 6days until stitches were removed and bulletproof tape on. My doctor has an "in house" surgery center. Did it under just a local. I was allowed to drive myself and everything- felt great afterwards. Was slightly sore a few days when numbing wore off- but not even bad enough that I took Tylenol or anything.

Was there a cost for fixing the small puffing?
October 8, 2014
I know some doctors charge for this procedure - but mine did not! He felt that this was part of the overall procedure results. Was most concerned with me being happy with everything!

Hey, somehow i stumbled upon your profile! I am getting a mommy makeover in December with Dr. Fox. Are you still happy with everything. its so hard to find reviews for doctors in the area?
November 23, 2014
My doctor was Dr. Schmidt - but yes I couldn't be more happy!! Like over the moon excellent! would do it again in a heartbeat - best wishes and I am sure you will be just as pleased. Please let me know if you have any questions or anything I can help you with! :-)

I love the office, and the staff and that is what made me finalize things with him. The only odd things I've had are with financials. It was really odd, he gave me and my husband a price for the lipo if we wanted to add it on, which had made us consider it, if it was at the price he was saying and afterward when I sat down with the financial woman (my husband had to get back to work) and she quoted me a price 3x the amount the doc had mentioned. She just tossed it off as, he didn't know what he was saying and shouldn't have said that. So I told her I couldn't commit to that yet then. Then this happened when I called her back to let her know to for sure drop the lipo from the bill. (copy and pasting from my review) I got a call from the financial Lady at the the PS's office. She wanted to let me know what my insurance's was not going to cover the hernia in my belly button, and even if it did our deductible was so high that we'd be paying for it anyway. Here I thought giving our insurance information was just a formality because we had planned on paying for everything out of pocket. I assumed the hernia he was referring to was all a part of the tummy tuck procedure. So she called to let me know it would be adding an additional $1,000 to our bill for fixing the hernia, because it wasn't originally a part of the pricing contract I signed? Is this normal? Do I even need to get this fixed if its not a problem and a lot of women get these after pregnancy and never fix them? Help?! This all conveniently comes after I called them to cancel the liposuction of the flanks as she told me I had time to get back to her until my pre op oppointment. So I took of $1500 off the bill just to add on and unexpected $1000.

That is very odd- I would have asked the lady to go back and ask the doctor what he had said about the price of lipo. At my consult and then finalization appointment I got a price doing different things seperatly and then if I did them all together as a package and dr.schmidt told me he would give me like 15-20% off. The financial lady came back to talk to me and she had a different price. I spoke up and asked her and she said there's no way because he doesn't even give his family and friends that big of a discount - I asked her to go ask him and sure enough I was right :-)
November 23, 2014
That sound eerily familiar. I did speak up because I knew my husband would not be happy. But the Doctor was already with another patient. I mentioned it again to the nurse on the phone as I was cancelling the flank lipo thinking maybe I would get someone to confirm with Dr. Fox but she said the same thing, that they have standard prices and she has no idea why Dr. Fox would have given that price during the consultation. My Nurses appointment to finalize everything is on the 4th. I don't know if I should wait til then to discuss this $1000 increase. I think I'm going to call back on Monday and discuss further. I kinda wish I knew what other surgeons in the area do. I feel like the financial lady is a non budgable force no matter what the doctors say.
November 23, 2014
When I had mine they did a standard like rate for a particular procedure and then adjusted it by the length of time the doctor thought it would take. I would call Monday because if you wait then they kind of know you are going to do it all anyways--

WOW- the transformation! Nearing the 4month mark.

The days and months have flown by- I feel fantastic and am back to my normal exercise routine. I HAVE ABS! Ha- these pictures don't show it very well, but I just can't believe the definition that can finally come through! The hard work was paying off! I can't even describe how awesome Dr.Schmidt and his staff have been through every visit- down to earth great people who care about their patients. The pictures show some tape on the corners- doctor fixed a small "puffing". Looked great without that fix - no one would've noticed unless I told them, but my doctor wanted me to be the happiest I could be so we fixed it. Super easy procedure. Any ways enjoy the new photos!

You look AMAZING girl!!!! Thank you so much for all your updates and pictures!!!! I found you the first day I signed up and have been following every since!!! You sure have given me a good idea of what to expect for my TT and BR surgery on Oct 18th :) what kind of Compression garment did you buy again? Where can I get one? How did you decide on what size? When did you start using it? I have the one the dr recommended for right after but this other one sounds really good!! Any/all info on it would be great!!! Keep up your positive energy!!! It's contagious :) :)

The current one I am wearing is a MariaE Faja- style 9334 - if you go on the MariaE website and look- but I ordered off of amazon. It is decently comfy- as much as it can be with tight pressure! Just make sure you do your measurements i choose size-My original CG DID come from Dr.Schmidt - it was a full body Capri length compression garment that went up to just under my breast line. It hooked and zipped all the way up each side of the legs. It was the power-net material I believe. VERY nice quality and pretty comfy too-brand is Caromed. (Your story is AWESOME - I am an identical twin :-) Takes an amazing person to do what you have done!

Thank you :) very helpful info!!!! My dr just recommended the nine inch compression garment... That was it. How are you feeling now?? How is work going???
October 8, 2013
Feeling great!! Today was my first full day without the compression garment at all- haven't decided how I feel about that- ha. I think good, but I can tell my upper tummy has swollen slightly since this morning. As for work (desk job) can't complain at all- as for working out and personal training- I can definately tell I still have limits. My body is good at giving me signals of when to take it easy and not to over do it!
