1 month post procedure

Ok so it’s been 4 weeks since i had the Vaser 360 and i am almost entirely pain free now. I still have numbness on my inner and outer thighs and a little on my stomach. I am stiff and achey but i wouldn’t call it painful anymore.

The bruising has almost completely disappeared and the incisions are healing nicely. The ones under my buttocks are uncomfortable since those are the ones that get sat on the most!

I have had fluid drained from my back 3 times since the procedure and i think it is all gone now. Hard to tell what is fluid and what is swelling.

I definitely look more petite and my clothes from before fit comfortably but I’m excited to shrink completely to my new size over the next couple of months. I’m also keen to start exercising again and will ask the doc tomorrow when it will be safe to do so.

I’ve stayed away from salty foods, been drinking loads of water and am wearing the compression garment 24/7 except for taking it off to shower.

I’m doing everything i can to keep the swelling under control and all the above seems to be working!

Definitely past the hard part thank goodness. Having ultrasound massage once a week to break up a few hard places and bumps but it’s relaxing not painful at all.

That’s my update so far!

1 week post Vaser liposuction

It’s been a week since having my Vaser Lipo 360 and wow it’s been 100% more intense than i anticipated!
I went from taking the Oxycodone to Tylenol after 2 days because it was making me loopy so I’ve had to deal with pretty intense discomfort. Perhaps i have a low pain threshold but it’s impossible to confirm that and from reading a lot of reviews on here first it seems other people experienced less discomfort than i have.
I didn’t have any drains fitted after the surgery, Dr Vallecillos said they rarely need to use them and i was relieved since the idea of them worried me a little! For the first few days you feel SO fragile and sore the thought of having tubes attached to holes in me was not appealing.
I did have a huge build up of fluid on my back which has been the main source of pain and thankfully after visiting the doctor yesterday he numbed the area, painlessly extracted a lot of fluid and today i feel like a new woman.
Unfortunately i still have a lot of padding under my compression garment so look stiff and large in my clothes but am confident over the next week i will be able to remove them and size down a garment.
I also had the small stitches removed from the incisions (also painless) but i did almost pass out when my compression garment was removed as i stood up to have this done. I’ve read about this happening but never imagined it actually would. Fortunately they rushed me some fruit juice, sat me down and i was fine.
Wow. This process is a LOT. And I’m so happy to be in less pain now and looking forward to the next week or two being over. I’m not usually one to wish time away but I’d say recovery from procedures definitely makes time move extra slow!
Will post photos when i can take some.
And will keep updating progress since i think i will forget all this once it’s over!

Day One After Vaser Liposuction 360

It’s the day after my procedure, something i only Decided on doing a month ago after years of struggling to balance my body shape. After 2 kids and having gotten down to my goal weight of 125 lbs my upper body is way too skinny and my lower half remains flabby. I could never target and lose the weight on my lower belly and thighs through diet and exercise. I know the fashion these days is curvy big butts but i personally always dreamed of a long lean ‘french’ figure and to be able to wear tight clothes without needing Spanx and feeling bottom heavy. As i lay here recuperating having taken the latest dose of oxycodone i can’t quite believe it’s done! Make no mistake. The aftermath so far is incredibly Painful! Maybe i have a low pain threshold but getting in and out of bed and needing to pee etc is a real ordeal so far. I’m also strapped into my compression garment which is lined with padding so have no idea what i even look like underneath yet. I had my lower abdomen, flanks and inner and outer thighs ‘sculpted’ so that’s quite a few sore spots to contend with at once. I’m aware the first few days will be tough and just hope i turn a corner tomorrow and notice the pain reduce a little at least. Excited to be on the other side of the surgery and on the road to recovery now. Dr Vallecillos has been amazing through this whole experience so far and i cannot wait to see the results. Stay tuned for pics when i have some!
