I know it sounds cliche but my story is pretty much like everyone else here. I went straight from a training bra to a B cup over the summer between 3rd and 4th grade. By the time I reached 9th grade I was a full D. It was hard being a cheerleader headings to wear a bra and sports bra. By 12th grade I could wear DDD depending on the brand. Now I'm a 36K and I'm finally getting a reduction. Unfortunately I have to pay out of pocket but I'm sure that it will be worth it.

I haven't posted in a while because I've been trying to get everything together before the big day. My nerves have been good until I woke up this morning now they're all over the place. Does anyone have any suggestions to keep myself calm the night before? I'll post before and after pics soon.

I made it!

I arrived at the surgery center at 11:15 for my surgery and my emotions were all over the place. After talking to the anesthesiologist, Dr and nurse I felt better. The last thing I remember is them asking me where I wanted to go on vacation and then I was waking up. He removed 2 1/2 pounds from each breast. I haven't seen how they look yet but here are some before pictures

Thank you! Even though I'm sore right now my shoulders and back feel better already. I wish I had done this years ago.

My surgeon took one look at me and said this surgery will change my world. Such a sweet man.
How is the pain?
I'm having a bit of Lipo at the sides too. Eek

I can't really feel pain in my breast right now but I'm sure that will change. The lipo pain is what's bothering me the most. I've been using ice packs and that helps temporarily.

The ladies before me helped motivate me too. I love this forum and it is amazing how good my shoulders and back feel already. Even the tension I used to have in my neck feels better and it's only been 24 hrs

I was exactly like you in high school, also a cheerleader with huge breasts. I had my first reduction done when I was 21, and my second one at 63. I was so ready for this last one and so excited, I didn't care I had to pay for the surgery myself. Yes I had some complications afterwards, but they were just bumps in the road that have smoothed out, and 2 years later I am one happy woman. You did the right thing!!

The lipo they did on my "bra fat" is what is bothering me. Did they do lipo on you and if they did how did you get relief
