Prescriptive, Impersonal and Zero Change.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lara Devgan for under eye fillers. She and her staff are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. Her office is orderly and easily accessible and although there was a wait, it was about a half-hour so nothing too out-of-the-ordinary. Overall, it is a pleasing place to visit.

I spoke to Dr. Devgan's assistant about wanting a smooth undereye and to eliminate any hollowing. She numbed me with a topical lotion and soon after Dr. Devgan entered to perform the treatment. I was not told how much I was being given, or what, but I was told that final results would be seen in three weeks after the acid has time to expand. I could see no change in-office but listened to my doctor, followed after-care instructions, and waited. A month passed and I am sad to say that I look exactly the same.

After correspondence with Dr. Devgan's office, I learned that I was given just a 1/5 of a tablespoon of filler, far too little to see a difference. I assumed I would be injected enough for my personal needs, instead, I feel as though I was given a standard and sent on my way. For undereye fillers, Dr. Devgan charges per $2500 per syringe which is nearly three times the average in my city. I don't mind the price but I did expect to see a difference with such a price tag. When I reached out, I was encouraged to make another appointment but I do not feel comfortable paying another $2500, or more if there won't be any change.

Overall, I am disappointed. I expected to see results but there is literally not a single change. See for yourself. There were international doctors that I was considering but I choose to stay local due to covid-19 travel restrictions.
