Hyaluronidase
I have always been quite hollow under the eyes and so had tear trough fillers done before my wedding (not by Mr Ezra) and they had ended up lumpy and weird looking in certain light and when my face was in animation. The overfilled look really made me feel very awkward in social situations, so I decided to look at getting the filler dissolved, but after reading reviews on hyaluronidase on Realself I had become worried about getting it done. However, I did a lot of research and came across Mr Ezra so contacted him for a consultation. He was very reassuring, but also gave me all of the information I needed to make the decision to have the filler dissolved.
I decided to go ahead, and am so glad I did. Although initially my under eye skin did look a little hollow (which makes sense as there was filler there before), after a few days of moisturising well and using sunscreen the skin does bounce back. I think this does have to do with the fact that Mr Ezra is very conservative with the amount of hyaluronidase he uses (I have had two sittings so far), this is a good idea in my opinion, as the filler is dissolved more gradually, meaning it's not likely to affect your own tissue (if this is possible) - and it gives you time to adjust to how you looked before. I will be returning to Mr Ezra for another consult soon to check all filler is gone and then will have the tear troughs refilled (by him). I'm very pleased with the results so far and will post some pictures when treatment is complete (before/during and after) to show anyone who is considering this treatment that provided you go to an experienced/qualified/skilled provider you can get very good results and that dissolving filler and having it replaced can be a positive experience and boost your confidence. In my experience, having filler placed correctly is so very difficult to achieve and really does take a skilled provider. Hopefully this will help anyone who is considering either dissolving filler or having tear trough filler done.
