Love my new lips. After the numbing cream, I felt nothing. Went over the look I was going for (full, pouty lips) & she took it from there; giving me exactly what I wanted. She also suggested we save some for my two week check up in case there's an area we want to add to which was a great idea. I had some swelling but no bruising and no pain. 6 hours later I'm controlling the swelling and pain with ARNICARE GEL!! Highly recommend doing this. My lips were starting to hurt and turn into a blowfish but not even 2 minutes after applying the cream, the swelling went down a lot and the pain was gone.

When it came to making a decision about my face, I felt like I couldn't afford to be frugal. A lot of places charge less bc they use Juvederm plus whatever filler they can get. I was told that pure Juvederm alone, which is the best, costs about $500. That's just for the Juvederm so, I was prepared to pay a little more to not have any deformities or problems. I'm very happy with the spa and will continue to use this facility for all of my facial cosmetic needs. The place is gorgeous; the staff is amazing and sweet, and, most importantly, everyone knows what they're doing!!! I can't ask for more

How much did you get? Do you have any lumps?

Almost a full syringe with no lumps. Saved 2 ccs for touch up in case needed.

Weird question but did she massage them? I got mine done 2 weeks ago today and I have a bunch of hard lumps in my upper lip and I do not believe that he massaged mine at all. I used almost the whole syringe too but I thought a whole one is only 1 CC? I go back on Tuesday for the touch up and my doctor didn't use any numbing cream.. said that it really didn't make a difference..hmmm

The numbing cream was so important bc it allowed her to go deeper into the tissue without me having any pain and she massaged after each injection to spread out the Juvederm so I wouldn't have any lumps and I don't. Also, don't quote me on the 2 ccs. I could swear that's what she said but I could be wrong. I do know we left some for my two week touch up. Good luck. I would look up massaging them now yourself and see if that helps.

It's definitely fixable so, don't worry. They told me they can inject something and make it practically go away. Then you can start over. Let me know.

I went somewhere else Friday and they said that I can try to massage them out. I have an apt with the original surgeon tomorrow so I will see what he says. I am not happy with the idea of having to dissolve and start over. It hurt without cream lol

I have been massaging and putting ice bc I did develop a couple of lumps over last couple of days and they have dissolved. The biggest help for me has been massage and lots of icing. Sorry for late response! I didn't get any notifications! Good luck. We do invest a lot of money on beauty!

Bottom lip - no swelling but a little bruising and top lip had no bruising but still some swelling. Felt more comfortable going outside the first day than I do now. I look like someone hit me in my mouth. No more pain or discomfort. Just looks weird:(

I'm really happy with my new look. Definitely got what I asked for. Downside: my bf says that when he kisses me, he can feel where my lips have been filled. Not happy about that. May not be a big deal to some but to me it is bc he said it feels hard. Hoping it's just swelling and that everything will continue to even out. Want a more natural feel but overall, really happy w the way it "looks"
