Good things take time. It took me 5 years to have my first child, then shortly after I had a second and oops my beautiful twins were born...4 kids in 5 years! My body had snapped back after the first 2 but my pregnancy with the twins, not so much (an understatement). My OB told me to put away my bikinis and get a Lands End Swimsuit! I had gone for a consult 15 years ago but did not have the support for me and my 4 little people to go through with it. I avoided looking at my stomach in the mirror and letting anyone see it. I become the master of disguise with clothing and wore one piece swimsuits, I stayed active. One day.....
One year ago I saw a news show featuring Dr Pollocks Tummy Tuck procedure. I was impressed with the Progressive Suture Technique especially the reduced healing time and reduced discomfort of drainless. I consulted with Dr. Pollock and was impressed by his honesty about the challenges of the procedure with travel. I consulted with KC doctors, they did not do the drainless, one said it takes too much time!
Off to Dallas I went on a quick 60 min. flight. I met Dr Pollock after numerous exchanges with Tami and Kim from his office who were great at fielding all of the questions from schedules, to medical concerns.... Dr Pollock was kind and confident. He answered all of my questions and I was confident I chose the BEST PS! The surgery in Mckinney Hospital went very well! He did all internal sutures except the three on my bb (which is really cute btw). The pre op nurse at McKinney wondered why I came so far for this procedure...I told her I wanted the BEST! Once the abdominoplasty, diastasis repair, hernia repair and lipo was over I stood up and walked straight one of the nurses commented "how can she do that?" Dr Pollock's nurse said "All of Dr Pollock's patients can stand right away!"
I have followed Dr Pollock's advice and been mobile right from the start. I can honestly say I have been taking it easy but the recovery has been easy because it was drainless and probably because of Dr Pollocks skill as an artist and surgeon. My outer thigh lipo was very bruised (I bruise easily) but was gone by week 2 of post op (maybe the arnica montana pellets and gel???)
I will post before and after at one month. My incision looks great....it is low and can be hidden by a bikini (I'll have to go shopping), I expect that in a few months it will be difficult to see.
I continue to have excellent communication with Dr Pollock and will see him again soon. I can't say enough good things about Dr Pollock, he is real, he is honest, he is the BEST!

Wow! I can't believe a month has gone by! Everything went very well, I was out and about from Day 1 but took it easy! I am feeling really good and ready to use this next month to do some easy exercise and build up my endurance! I bought a cute bikini but am not sure if I'll be brave enough to wear it publicly! Here's some pics from the last month!

You look great! I will be asking Dr Pollock to make me look like you! I just had lipo on my back yesterday in preparation for a future tummy tuck. Looking forward to getting my body back
