35 Year Old Hispanic Woman with a Happy Nose - Dallas, TX

I have been meaning to write this review for a while. However, I wanted to wait until I was completely healed to give my review. I am two months short of two years since the surgery. I had been wanting a nose job for as long as I could remember. My nose was too big all around with a bulbous tip and a bump on the bridge. I am a tech nerd and researched doctors to the fullest extent prior to choosing Dr. Cochran. His price is more than fair given that he is the best in his field. He specializes in rhinoplasty which is something I wanted as this is one of the harder plastic surgeries to perform. He does hundreds of procedures a year. As for all the details of the process, other people have well described the process exactly as it happens. I recommend reading the review by BiancaMichelle. I was very afraid to go through with this surgery as you are changing something on your face. This is your most seen attribute and had heard various horror stories. I felt relieved to know that if I was unhappy with the results Dr. Cochran offers to do a revision free of charge. The only thing you have to pay for is the hospital fees but not his fee. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with my result. It feels like the nose I should have been born with. I have zero regrets. The staff is very professional, answered all of my questions (and I had many) and the surgery was top of the line. He narrowed my nostrils, narrowed my nose overall, removed the bump on the bridge and removed the bulbous tip. I have received many compliments that I have gotten more attractive as I have gotten older but no one has been able to tell that I have had "work" done. It looks so natural that if I don't tell people no one can tell, not even close family and friends. They just think I look better but can't identify what exactly. This is exactly the result I wanted. Fifteen years prior, I had a surgery to enhance my breathing with a ENT doctor. In that surgery, they scraped tubules off of my bridge, removed my tonsils and adenoids. When Dr. Cochran was doing my surgery, he saw that part of that previous work had begun to come back. He removed that excess and used it in the construction of my nose. Now, I don't snore at all! I went to get a sleep study after and my breathing is textbook perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better result. My other concern was that I am Hispanic and thus, have thicker skin. This affects how much in changes can be done and the whole surgery. Dr. Cochran was very versed in this area when I asked him questions related to Hispanic noses. I was very impressed and he put my fears at ease. I was amazed by how much pain I wasn't in. The swelling was bad for the first week but that's all. I was still swollen for awhile but not to the point that I couldn't go out in public. Even after the first year, I could still keep seeing more definition come out. I do recommend having someone who can take care of you for the first week. Also, write down all the times you take your meds because it is a bit much to keep track of.
