I have been self conscious of the deep hollows...
WORTH IT$725
I have been self conscious of the deep hollows under my eyes for years. They are genetic, I've had them since I was a baby but combined with a little aging, lots of sun and late nights, my empty looking under eyes was beginning to be all that I could see in the mirror anymore. I became very self conscious about this area and researched for weeks before I finally set up a consultation with Dr. Sam Lam. I am only 48 hours post op but I can already tell the difference and he did a phenomenal job!! I am extremely impressed, I was very VERY nervous getting something done to such a crucial and fragile area of my face but I trusted his judgement, and wow. He is truly an expert and I am so glad I went through with it. I will keep y'all updated as I continue to heal but woah so far I am blown away with the results. He said I might be swollen and bruised for about a week but I think his gentle technique and artistry of how he used the blunt tip micro cannula instead of a standard needle changed that recovery time to maybe not even 3 days. I got the restylane injected under my eyes Friday afternoon, it is now Sunday morning and I have virtually no bruising and the swelling is minimal. PS Also I have had Botox done through other doctors and the pain was very uncomfortable, I don't know how Dr Lam does it but the injections he did around my eyes on my face Friday were basically painless. Thank you Dr Lam, you are seriously the bee's knees!!!!! I can't wait to see what the final result looks like :)

Hello!
I'm 23 and past few years my hollows have become unbearable to look at.. Before this I used to have a face I was comfortable and felt attractive now I'm self conscious and feel I look a lot older than my age.
I'm tempted to get restalyne injections in my tear troughs buy I'm concerned as I feel I'm too young to start injecting my face.. As I know I will have this repeatedly done yearly if needed to top it up and don't know if this will damaged that area if you injected into it so young. Do you know much about this! And do you have any before and afters of yours?
Thanks!!

I am only 22 so I know how you feel about being nervous injecting fillers into such a young face but I was beginning to get so self conscious about my dark hollows I just had to do something. I was EXTREMELY nervous but I am so happy I went through with it, he only used one syringe and he didn't use all of it under my eyes, he had enough left over to put some in my temples because he didn't want to overfill me and it look unnatural. I'm very happy with the results so far

how many syringes did he use?

He only used 1 syringe and he didn't use all of it in my year troughs because he did not want to overfill, he used the rest of it in my temples (don't really understand why the temples needed filler but I trusted his judgement)

Looks great!! I too had the same issue. I've always had a hollow undereye area, not much fat to start with there. They run in my family. By the time I was 24 I was starting to look pretty hagged. Doesn't help that I am a guy (lower facial body fat) and lean. So I got fat grafting a few weeks ago. It's looking better day by day. Definitely an option if you'd like something more permanent ! I figured I'd rather have one thing done and be done with it rather than having to have the constant upkee and expense of other fillers .

Hey there! I'm considering that too! Absolutely...one and done. I'm tired of chasing fillers after 8 + years. Best of luck!

Hi,
I've not looked into CO2 resurfacing. My hollows were a volume issue , my skin is still taught and wrinkle free as I'm only 24. I honestly would stay clear of lasers, I've heard horror stories of IPL and whatnot. Doesn't seem right to be using these strong interventions for the skin specially on the face which is very thin and sensitive. I think implants, fat grafting, and fillers (in that order) are your best option for addressing this permanently. Fat grafting is best in regards to obtaining the most natura result as it is infinitely customizable but the only caveat is that it can be unpredictable in regards to how much actually stays . Make sure you seek out a reputable surgeon that knows what he's doing because fat grafting can leave you with lumps and unevenness or overfilled face if the doc does not do it right.

Very impressive result. I have the same issue as you do about looking tired with hollows. I have done filler and Botox for around 8 years now. I recently had bilateral veins removal from my temporal and under eye area. I'm exploring more options now. But WOW...somebody done a excellent job. No bruising....that's a gentle touch and skill especially with the area under the eye. BTW...Botox should not hurt. This should last you a while. You look great. :-)

If you love makeup and for the future....try La Mer concealer. It's pretty amazing to impress me!
