I had gastric bypass in 2010 and exercised everyday. I have lost 145 lbs and kept it off for 2 years as of date. But I could not get rid of that fatty part above my vagina. I worked out faithfully at the gym even with a personal trainer. It just got where they told me that I lost the elasticity in that area a s would have that for life. I was like oh no I have to do something. Contacted Dr. Beale and scheduled a consultation.

Hey there, welcome and thanks so much for sharing your journey with us!

When did you have your surgery and how is your recovery going?

Age 64. I have a major "mommy apron." I haven't had the paniculectomy (sp) yet. I am still losing weight...40 lbs off in 2 months, and going! Started at 275, and want to get to 175 (including surgery loss, if there is any). Not dieting, per se, but stopped using any kind of sugar (just stevia), and went off wheat and crunchy stuff. This site has made me feel I can do it (the surgery). Tytytyty

You look fabulous! I am not yet at a good weight, yet, but if my surgery produces your results, I would be in heaven! Good luck!
