Uneven and lumpy

I do not recommend getting lip filler done here. My lips healed uneven and stayed lumpy for a long time. I have been getting them done else where for the past year and it's a huge difference going to a skilled injector.

I'm 23 and had 1 syringe of juvederm injected in my lips. I told my dr to focus the product in the center of my mouth so it would look full and not make my mouth wider than it is. I had numbing cream only and I really couldn't feel anything. They looked nice right after but started to bruise and swell a couple hours later. The next day was the worst but I kept icing them and the swelling went down pretty fast. I had one bruise and it lasted about 4-5 days. After I got them done my lips were really dry so I applied tons of medicated Chapstick for the first week and it helped! I've had them done about 2 weeks now and I'm really happy with the results!! :)

Hello. Could you tell us what dr. you saw and also what you did pre and post treatment to help with bruising and swelling?
Was this juvederm ultra or ultra plus?
Where were the injections sites?

Hi most of the filler is in the center of my upper and lower lip and he tapered off the rest to make it look even. I was going for a full look in the middle. It even helped lift my upper lip and give me more tooth show. To help with the swelling I iced my mouth like crazy for the first 3-4 days and it helped them look "normal". I had a few lumps and was worried but they went away in about a week. I think it was Juvederm Ultra I'm not for sure. I would definitely take pictures with you to your consultation of what you want and don't want them to look like that way your dr can see the look your going for. I hope this helps some. Good luck!!

Awesome!! He made me feel really comfortable. Just be prepared for some swelling but in a few days it'll look good. And use the ice pack a lot :)
