I'm healthy, work out about 30-45 minutes a day five days a week and walk. I had breast cancer in one breast. I decided to do a bilateral mastectomy because at age 59, I don't want to go through this again. I interviewed about three surgeons and decided to go with Dr. Ricardo Meade. He has a lot of wisdom, experience and knowledge because he specializes in all types of breast surgery. He implanted expanders once my surgeon removed my breasts. I had a little pain the first day but that was it! I went through 12 treatments of chemo and 30 days of radiation. I still made myself work out and walk 5 days a week. I had to wait 5 months before reconstructive surgery. Dr. Meade made me feel very comfortable before and after surgery. Again, I had a little pain the first day but that was it! I have the same size breasts (silicone) that I did prior to the cancer. They look awesome! I highly recommend Dr. Meade for any type of breast surgery. It's important to look and feel like a woman and he definitely makes you look fabulous!

The first time I met with Dr. Meade was very impressive. He's knowledgable, professional, caring... an expert in his field. He discusses with you what your overall objective is so you'll be happy with the results. If you aren't sure, his experience will assist in the design that you prefer.
