33 Year Old BRCA+1 Patient / Mastectomy with Recon - Dallas, TX

I am a BRCA 1+ patient who opted for a prophylactic double mastectomy with reconstruction last year. I chose to put my care in the hands of Dr. Meade and I am so glad I did. He made a couple of scary surgeries look like nothing. He worked side by side with my breast surgeon and made me look fabulous. I really think I now look better than before the surgeries. He connected me with a similar patient prior to my surgery to get another woman's opinion of his work and I was amazed. He is not only a great doctor, but a family man with a BIG heart and someone I would HIGHLY recommend. He made a really crazy year (3 surgeries) seem like a walk in the park. Dr. Meade is very knowledgeable about the BRCA genes and is an active part of this community. He has connected me to some pretty GREAT groups that I would have never found with out him.
