April Update

My boobs have settled into what they're going to look like I think. They're perky and small. From the front they're cute from the side I have zero upper pole left. That's fine. Nothing a bra can't fix. I still experience some nerve pain when I sleep on my stomach or when I'm in a weird position. Overall I still desire a more aesthetic look. My nipple on the right side is a different shape and size than the left. It was clearly a sloppy job. Just overlooked maybe. The office tells me he'll fix whatever is wrong but I feel investing in somebody who's purely in it for the look of the breast is the best way to go. I'm not depressed or angry about it however. The important thing was to just get them out asap! The implants were killing me slowly.

Talked to the Doc today...

Dr.M called today to check up on me which I appreciate. I let him know of my predicament, and he requested me to send pictures again. (which I did but maybe he never got them) He said that I shouldn't even judge anything until March. So in March I'll send more pictures to see what he says. Fingers crossed this is a minuscule thing to touch up. Other than the nipple differences the boobs look pretty good. They're small and flatter than usual, but I am just so glad to have those awful implants out!!!!

Dr.Melmed is an interesting doctor. He does...

Dr.Melmed is an interesting doctor. He does believe in implant illness (hence my reasoning to go with him), but I don't think he was very interested in my individual aesthetic outcome as a patient. My procedure en bloc was done with minimal pain, but aesthetically I am disappointed. Keep in mind I am 3 weeks out. Things might magically change, but we'll see.

Dr.Melmed and his staff are very kind and upbeat. The office was a bit outdated, not what you'd expect, but overall a friendly vibe. Mind you I went with this doctor due to his ratings through other sites related to breast implant toxicity illness. Because this doctor does not do implants for that reason alone, I was really happy that a surgeon like this existed. Granted I'm only 3 weeks out of surgery, there was major misstep in the shaping of my nipples. It looks unsightly and I am being told to wait it out to see improvements. I am not blind nor am I an idiot. There is clearly some extra work to fix this issue. I will keep you all updated as to how that is handled through this surgeon and his team. I do not regret my explant one bit. The implants were keeping me ill I have no doubt about that. That's the most important reason for explant.
