FULL REVIEW All on 4 Implants at Golpa Implant Center New Location in Dallas 36 Yr Old

WORTH IT$29,500
My goal here is to write about my total experience getting the All on 4 procedure/G4 implant solution at the newest Golpa center in Dallas. I've been interested in this idea since I first heard of it but still had some okay teeth and could not afford it. The name "Golpa" came up over and over again during the years of on and off research.

I spoke to a lovely person named Andrea on the website's live chat. She was very sincere and did not come off pushy or like a salesperson. She had the procedure herself and gave what I felt like was an honest review. She mentioned that the Dallas location had just opened and had limited time special pricing for $29.5K for both arches.

At first I was hesitant. I kind of felt like I might be a guinea pig for the new center but she assured me that the doctor in charge has trained with Dr Golpa for 5 years and was actually one of the doctors who performed her surgery. I'm still feeling a little weird about it honestly. The LV center has sooo many reviews as does Dr Golpa himself, but this place is very new and not much info is out there. In the end, the fact that I'm terrified of flying and just have awful travel anxiety all around made the decision for me. Dallas is less than 1/2 the travel time of LV for me. Put that with the lower price and I made the choice.

I booked my appointment and put down my deposit yesterday. It's a deposit of $5K which holds your surgery date, makes sense to me since they devote so much time to each patient so I wasn't annoyed about that. I booked my trip today and it was about $800 for 2 people to go for 3 nights. I will be arriving on Sunday, surgery and consultation on Monday, bridge on Tuesday, and leaving Wednesday afternoon.

Right now I am just feeling insanely nervous. I'm going back and forth on whether I should've gone to LV and hoping this center is just as good. I'm glad they could get me in so soon! If I had to wait months I think the anxiety would drive me nuts.

If you're interested in my dental story, keep reading. Otherwise I'll update soon!

I have always had bad teeth. My enamel just flakes right off and I grew up very poor and didn't see a dentist for probably 17 years. When you don't get to see anyone little problems turn into big ones. A tooth that might've needed a small filling now needs a root canal and crown. As a single mom in my 20s I never had the money to do the proper treatments. Usually the tooth would just be left until it became so painful that it had to be extracted (I sure didn't have 2K for a root canal and crown). I have had so many infected teeth over the years. The pain is unreal. My teeth break easily because of the weak enamel and I never know when I might just bite down onto a piece of a tooth.

I came upon a dentist who really helped me and did some fillings and crowns for only the lab fees. This probably saved me from dentures for the last 6 years. However, so many had to go that I am down to only one spot where I can chew which is on my back left. The bottom tooth cracked a few weeks ago and when that tooth gets removed I will have no more back chewing surface. I realized it was probably about to be time for dentures and had 3 consults. Every dentist told me about how much I'd hate dentures and how my bones would diminish (which is already starting to happen on one side) and my face would change and eventually collapse. They all recommended implants at a cost of $40 to 60K.

The thing that drove me crazy was how JUDGMENTAL every single one of them was. Look, could I have put more time into caring for my teeth? I don't know, probably, but when you can't see a dentist and don't really know what's going on it's hard to treat at home. What I do know is that now is not lecture time. This is the situation I'm in and I really don't need to hear about how much happier I'd be with my real teeth. Yeah.... I know that. Obviously. On top of that they shrugged off the cost like it was no big deal. "It's an investment in yourself", "Think about your health!", "It's no more than a new car". And I get it, teeth are a big deal, but if you don't have the money to invest then hearing that stuff isn't helpful.

We are financially stable but certainly don't have a spare 50K laying around. i figured it was hopeless. We ended up taking a loan from a family member. Now I know that I am extremely lucky to have someone in my life who had the resources and the willingness to help. I know that not everyone will, but if you have someone who might be able to help you and you're in a desperate situation , you never know, so ask! Until that offer my plan was to save up and try to go to Mexico. I really didn't want to go out of the country but hey, desperate times.

When we had the money secured I started doing real research. I cannot live with a denture, seriously, not even for a few months. I would actually just go toothless. Turns out that almost every "Teeth in a Day" advertisement is false. They almost all require a temporary which may or may not just be a denture and is usually ill fitting from their patients stories.

I kept seeing Golpa over and over again and barely a single bad review. When I heard about the much lower pricing and watched all the videos on youtube (and I do mean ALL) and read every review I could find, I decided to book. I'm hoping and praying that the new location lives up to the reputation of the LV one. Someone has to take a chance and I guess it's me!

Please let us know how you make out. I am now in dentures and really hate them. I am hoping I can have this procedure done as well. Good luck.

Love the honesty on all the ridicule and can totally relate...I to am lucky to have a family member to turn to. Let's be real, I'm a single mom myself and have never had the luxury I'm driving around in a new car let alone having my whole Grill replaced....lol. I have my appointment with Dr. Golpa this Wednesday and I am super excited slash totally nervous. I'm sure everything will work out though

Wow I would love to be able to afford this. A few years back I started receiving blood transfusions and it took away all nutrients from my body. My teeth are awful and ugly. I used to be so beautiful. Now I'm just a monster staring in the mirror so I stopped wearing make up so I don't have to see the monster.

A friend of mine is going for the same thing as you did at a cost of 40K. At the age of 74 why would anyone put that kind of money into their mouth? She is rethinking because I am going for full top extractions and have found a great person to do my thin flexible top denture and a flexible bottom partial. The denture and partial will run me under 1K. Russell Klein is on Etsy so if you are in our boat, friend is rethinking, see his page. These dentures actually fit like a glove and are cheap enough to totally replace if I ever need to. I will be keeping a blog on my adventure. Good luck to all who are having these issues.

Your teeth look Beautiful!! I had the Dr Golpa G4 on May 17th in Vegas and I am happier then a Pig in poop now. I basically had a 6 week adjustment period and am now use to them. Congrats!!

Yes, I'm still adjusting also. Is it normal for the ends of the bridges to start feeling more loose?

No, no at all. My upper came loose after 2 weeks and I had to go back. They had to torque down the screws again as 2 of my 5 upper implant screws came loose. Please call the office right away and speak to them about it. If left unfixed, my skin was growing around the implant and it was pinching me with every bite. The bridges should be snug and tight, no movement at all. Dr. Golpa will get it fixed for you, they stand behind their work 100% and they won't charge you for any adjustments or anything as long as you are a non smoker as smoking can cause problems and they won't keep fixing problems caused by smoking.

I just had the upper and lowers done and I'm going through a lot of tightness like a vice and being pressed so hard against my gums I can feel the meat sticking out from behind the implant when I run my tongue over it. Please let me know if this is normal

Hi AngelAcosta... Congrats on your New smile.. it sounds like you may have a little bit of swelling maybe? The space will slowly increase as your mouth heals, you sound very normal. At your 6mo checkup, they may do a re-line and adjust the snugness some, they did with me.. the waterpik is your friend as is the special floss they recommend. Give yourself 6-8 weeks of complete adjustment and everything will be fine. I have had my G4 now for 2.5 Yr and I LOVE Dr. Golpa and my G4 Smile. I have had minimal problems, having an access hole filing come out has been my biggest problem, which is NOT a problem really at all.

The teeth themselves look great, but they look a little off center....is it just me...

Your teeth look beautiful. Hope you are doing well with your new Keith. I need the all on for full set as well. I am in the research phase. I live in New Jersey and I'm hesitant about going out of state or dental work in case there are problems. But then again I see such great work from G4 cobbler and the new teeth now. Thanks for sharing your experience it really helps someone like me making the decision to get her teeth done and not feeling alone for having bad teeth. Stay safe and healthy.
