So far I've had my consultation and today I had the blood work and check up done that the surgeon requires. I've lost around 80 pounds and have quite a bit of extra skin/sagginess hanging around on my stomach. It makes me very self conscious and I am so excited to have it removed. My pre-op appointment is next week (6/23) and then two weeks after that is the big day!

Wow how exciting, I wish I can move my date up and just be done with it. I really hate the anxiety just waiting.

I know! I don't know how I will survive these three weeks leading up to my surgery date. It's all I can think about which is making it hard to focus on anything else haha. Time seems to be going by pretty fast, though. Your time will be here before you know it!

Oh - at my check up, I had to have a freakin' RECTAL EXAM. Definitely not the most fun thing I've ever done! When the doctor told me I was like, "well...that sounds terrifying." I was ready to sprint out of that office haha. Thankfully it was a quick exam!

Progress! Back side looks good, can't wait to fix the front.

I had my pre-op appointment on Tuesday!

My pre-op appointment went well. He looked at my stomach again and wanted to do some extra lipo on my flanks but I cant afford that right now so I'm going to go without. I know I will still look good either way!
I got a folder full of all kinds of information pre and post op instructions (what medications to avoid leading up to surgery, papers about what to expect, information on the garment and scar strips/treatments, etc.)
I was given a prescription for an antibiotic, a muscle relaxer, something for nausea, and of course the pain meds.

1 week and 6 days until the big day! Time is going by so fast. I'm started to feel really unprepared and nervous!
