I had previously had rhinoplasty and TWO revisions...
WORTH IT
I had previously had rhinoplasty and TWO revisions by the original surgeon. I was extremely depressed because my nose had caved in on one side and I had developed the inverted V deformity due to the excessive work on my nose. I did a lot of research and found a plastic surgeon that specializes ONLY in noses. That is what I needed! A surgeon that focused on every minute detail of the nose. I made an appointment and I was very nervous that he may tell me my nose had no hope.
I went to the appointment and I came out feeling very uplifted. He told me he believed he could fix my nose with cartilage taken from my ear. I then made an appointment with the manager in charge of pricing. OUCH! It felt like a lot of money, BUT I went for it. I figured I rather spend half my savings instead of feeling self conscious about my caved in nose every waking moment.
WOW! It sas so worth it. Dr. Cochran is amazing.. I couldn't believe how he rebuilt my nose. It's been a couple years now and I still look in the mirror and thank GOD that I found Dr. Cochran. I love my nose.. People even have told me I have a great nose.. He build up the bridge of my nose and made it straight. He also added cartilage to the side that was caved in. I no longer have a scooped out, crooked, caved in nose. He said it was a mess in there but that it turned out good with the cartilage he added.
If you are in the same predicament I was in please don't hesitate to make an appointment with Dr. Cochran. I've never posted here but I just HAD the need to give him an excellent rating.

Hi there! I urge you to go to dr. Cochran. I was devastated before.. I dont really have pictures of my nose during the "disfigured" stage cuz I never want to see how it looked again. I can't remember exactly, but if I think it was in the area of $12k. Sounds high, but my hose had so much damage that Dr. Chochran had to take cartilage from behind my ear to rebuild my nose. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend him to people that seem to have lost hope. I think that by devoting his work to ONLY nosedive he knows what needs to be done and does a brilliant job.

So glad to hear u got the nose you feel comfortable with. I'm still searching. How long did u wait between ur last surgery with the same dr till you did your revision with Cochran?

I think it was like 3 years before I finally went to Dr. Cochran. My nose was ALWAYS on my mind and hated to even go out to dinner with friends because of it.
Thank you for your super quick response! :)) I've been really anti social the last year and a half and it's because I'm so self conscious and embarrassed about the state of my nose. I really wanted to give the healing process a fair go before resorting to another surgery. But I think in another 12 months I'll be getting something done. I can't wait to just put this nightmare behind me and start enjoying life without being weighed down. I'm so happy ure feeling better, it really gives me hope too.
Sounds like a good plan to wait a bit longer to make sure any natural adjustments happen before you go under the knife. Ntow will be glad after all this is behind you! There is hope! Start saving your money for it now do you don't run into money issues when it's time.
