Drastic results?

I still have a little hard portion underneath my chin the size of the tip of my pinky, but for the most part it seems like this is what I'm left to work with. It looks better when I'm not smiling, however when I am, I still see a pouch of fat. I'd say it's a 1/3 smaller than what I had before, but nothing drastic like I was expecting.

I'm stopping here for now with injections since I was administered two vials @ 750 each. It makes me think how expensive this could get for others that have more fat in that area.

I have always had a double chin too. When I was 18, I weighed 118 pounds and was 5'8". I was underweight. I was even thinner before that, yet from the side and when I smiled I had the pouch. A few years later I saw an orthodontist for TMJ and he told me I needed surgery on my lower jaw to bring it forward. He said it would help my pain and give me more of a jawline. So I think a part of my problem is a barely noticeable recessed chin. I never did get the surgery. I gained weight as I got older and the chin grew. I'm 50 now and below my normal BMI and yep it's still there. I have considered doing Kybella, but am afraid that without the jaw surgery it would make no difference. I don't notice you having a recessed chin, but mine isn't really noticing either. Your profile does look similar to mine when I was younger. I think Kybella did help yours and you look great... honestly you looked great before, but I know how it bothers you because I've always been self-conscious of mine.

I had mesotherapy abut 10 years ago and it appears to be the same ingredient that kybella has in it. After 5 years my skin started to wrinkle under my chin and I am thinking that my chin swelled so much that the skin never went back properly. I was in my 40s at the time. I would not do it again. The deoxycholic acid made me blow up like a bullfrog and I did go down again in size but not much better than when I started. I have heard of others that have had the same experience. I would much prefer the double chin to the wrinkles. I hope yours turns out good. They basically just changed the name of the process.

Finally Seeing Some Progress

It was 2 weeks when I noticed some progress on my bullfrog chin. Two hard lumps had formed, but now I only feel one single lump on the right side. I actually think it looks a little smaller than what I had before. It's still not where I want it to be, but at least I don't feel this huge weight whenever I look down at something.

Still a Bullfrog

I just started noticing some hardness on the right side of the injection site. It's not so much swollen now and it's not painful to touch anymore. The size may be due to the amount of kybella injected because there is an obvious lump in there.
