Not Overweight, Still Have Double Chin - The Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics

I've always had a little bit of a double chin, even when I was 10 pounds lighter. I went to see Jennifer Scheiderich, P.A. because Dr. Stetler and Dr. Polder had a higher consultation fee. The fee also doesn't go towards the treatment, but I really wanted to get this treatment done.

I found Jennifer very welcoming and assuring. She originally said I would need one vial during the consultation, but she ended up using two vials yesterday. I didn't complain, but I know for certain if she recommends a third one during my 6wk check in, I won't do it. The vials are $750 each, and I find them too expensive to get sucked into the "additional treatment" game.

The assistants put a topical numbing cream on area. It tingled, but I still winced a few times during the injection. They were sharp pains, but nothing that seemed out of the ordinary. The area was sore for the rest of the day. However, it was more annoying than painful.

Today I look more like a bullfrog and you can see the swelling face forward. Before, you couldn't see my double chin except for my side view.

So far I'm feeling like it's not worth it, but only time will tell.

I just started noticing some hardness on the right side of the injection site. It's not so much swollen now and it's not painful to touch anymore. The size may be due to the amount of kybella injected because there is an obvious lump in there.

It was 2 weeks when I noticed some progress on my bullfrog chin. Two hard lumps had formed, but now I only feel one single lump on the right side. I actually think it looks a little smaller than what I had before. It's still not where I want it to be, but at least I don't feel this huge weight whenever I look down at something.
