Hello everyone,
Let me start by saying that I'm thrilled to have found this website. I've read a few reviews and the support here is amazing! I have been debating on a BA foe over 10 yrs now ans finally decided to take thr very first step last yr when I went for my first consult. I was only a 34 AA and wanted to feel more feminine in my own body. (Make sense?) I didn't want that " Wow, she got her boobs done " look so after talking with my Dr, he recommended Allergen 234 mod smooth and round.
It took me almost a yr to call back to get my pre op consult. During that time I was doing research and looking over thousands of different pictures trying to compare body types to breast implat sizes. All the while thinking that 234 was going to be more than what I wanted. I decided that I was comfortable going anywhere from 210cc to 225cc. With that huge decision made, I called the Dr office only to find out that he moved to California but I could see his partner Dr Carpenter..... I had to ask myself ....ok is this a bad sign? I made the appt and met with the new Dr. Had to go through the entire process again since it was his first time meeting me. I had my mind made up that I wasn't going to go 234cc and had to chuckle when my new Dr recommend that I go 265cc, bigger than what I told originally. Needless to say with much hesitation, I choose to go with the 234 and my surgical date was set to May 1st.
Another month of looking at pictures, others experiences and completely freaking myself out, my day finally arrives. So many yrs of questioning if I should ir not and I was there taking that big step. Surgery done and in recovery, the nurse comes in to check in me. I look dow to see the work and niticed that my left breast is much larger than the right side. This is not good. I looked at the nurse and asked her if it was possible that I had bleeding so she went to talk to the Dr. I was right and they had to take me back in to the OR to remove the implant, flush out the blood and find the bleeder. (All while I was conscious!) Hurt a lot but the staff was amazing as was the Dr. He said that I was the first bleeder in 20 yrs. (Anither sign?) Everything done and over I was once again moved to recovery.
By the time I got home, I was feeling pretty good. I even made dinner for my family. Over the next few days I had mild pain but every now and again I had shooting pain around the insicion on my right side. The pain got better everyday but I started to notice that my right side was considerably larger, tighter and sorer than the left side. I would have thought the left would have been the one to give me problems do to the bleeder but it wasnt.
I had my sutures removed 3 days ago and a lot of the tightness in the incisions is now gone. I still have a difference in size which concerns me but the Dr said that I need to wait and give my body time to adjust. What worrries me is that I have what ppl would call a bird chest. Its pronounced and one side is slightly higher than the other. With that said I'm thinking maybe he should have gone a little smaller on the right to even out?
My next appt is towards the end of June. I will have to wait and see what happens between now and then. I know its really soon after surgery, I just never thought that there would such a big difference in size. Most of it is the fullness so its kinda hard to see I the pictures. I will keep you posted.

UPDATED FROM dweaz14
28 days post
4 wk post op mile stone
Ok so I have hit the 4 wk post op stage. My new additions are still hyper sensitive esp on the right side but I have less pain. I do still get some discomfort both In the morning, (I have heard it called morning boob) and in the evening when i have worn a bra all day.
I have posted some updated pics. I have a noticable difference in them at this time that I'm not happy about. Seems to get worse over time when its supose to be getting better. The right side is fuller and perkier than the left. Simply put, its bigger. Very noticible with clothes on. So much so, I have to pad the left side to make them look even.
I have waited so many years to have this done and one of worst fears seems to be happening. I'm going to wait until my 8 wk follow up appt and talk to my Dr then but as of right now, I'm thinking I'm going to need revisional surgery to place a larger impant in the right side. I know most women have some asymetry but I don't think that was taken into consideration during my consult. Oh to be able to do it over again......

I came across your story from a comment you made. How are you doing? I can't believe you were awake when they flushed out the blood! I think you great. Hopefully your implant has fallen and your breasts have evened out. I know that they heal at different paces. I honestly didn't notice until I read your concerns. Hopefully your pec muscle just needs to relax. Hope you are doing well...

Thank you. Actually they don't look bad now. Patience is a virtue when you have augmentation.
