Have been in contact with Dr. Arce via email starting on the 6th of June. Provided everything he asked for, photos, procedures I am interested in. Trying to schedule for August 1. Waiting for a response ? Now I"m looking to have more than one procedure done, apparently combining a facelift and rhinoplasty is not possible if I understand correctly. I am also considering a chin implant, brow lift and chest reduction.

Hi Fluff, my first surgery is scheduled with Dr. Arguello on Sept 7. Depending on when you leave, we may cross paths. I am staying at Verdeza for the first two weeks. Let me know if you'll still be there and maybe we can get together.

good luck, when i arrived, i had no airport pick up, no accommodation and no surgery. this is after many emails to confirm my surgery

fl and a rhinoplasty you can not combine they are both considetracked to be big surgeries

Update
My Surgery is scheduled for September 1. Face, Neck, Eyes U/L and Man B**B*S Haven't decided on Cosmetic Dentist yet but it will be Nova Dental ,Kaver and there is a third choice. I'll post further later.

Have you decided where you are going to recover? Zazusmom and I will be staying at Verdeza for the first 2 weeks and then I think CheTica. I am scheduled for the 6th with Dr. Arguello and would love to have a RS friend to chat with. I'm arriving on Sept 2nd.

Hi Bisala, I had a brief telephone conversation with Dr Arce last Thursday. I plan on recovering at Verdeza. They have not gotten back to me yet. I sent an email to Dr Arce early this afternoon today about my stay at Verdeza and other important questions regarding my scheduled surgery for September 01. I'm sure Dr Arce will address my concerns. I look forward to meeting you and Zazusmom at Verdeza.

Prisma Dental in Costa Rica is superb !! I had 10 veneers on top teeth replaced after 20 years & decided to do 10 crowns on bottom so they'd match the top teeth and 2 root canals. Superb work and amazing care. Highly recommend them !!

Hi Dixi, I have seen bad reviews for Primza Dental on TripAdviser.com. Eg: Over charging Gringos, Changing Quotes. Not a bad review on Nova Dental. or Kaver or the other. I will make my decision after I visit their offices in Costa Rica. It's all their on TripAdviser. I am Scheduled for 9/01 by the way.

Prism Dental is amazing and a fraction of the price of the US. At least go for a consult, you will see that the care, attention, professionalism is tops. They also have they're lab onsite. I'm delighted with they care I received. All prices are on line on they're website.

Ola from Costa Rica and Verdeza!!! I just wanted to pass along some information about some dental work I had done at America Dental which is only about 2 blocks from Verdeza and is PHENOMENAL! MANY Americans travel to CR for dental work and now I understand why. I had not seen my dentist in the states for over a year so a cleaning was definitely needed!
The assistant cleaned and scaled my teeth thoroughly and for the first time ever, I had NO BLEEDING OF MY GUMS! Her thorough cleaning cost only $50.
I originally went in for a cleaning and teeth whitening but they found 5 small cavities. I was a HEAVY smoker until about 2 months ago so I fully expected to have some cavities--especially since I hadn't seen my dentist in a long time:( Each filling was only $60. The dental consult for the whitening was $50.00 The teeth whitening cost was $350 for 1 hour of laser whitening.
Since I had liked and trusted them so much I decided to have them make a replacement moth guard for night (I grind my teeth). In the states, the same mouth guard costs around $900. At America Dental it cost $200. They used the same material to prepare the mold and I expect it will be of similar quality as the one I purchased in the states--if not better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AMERICA DENTAL in ESCAZU. I plan to come back to sight see, get a cleaning and have my amalgam fillings replaced with white ones!

Yay! I will look out for you. What is Man B**B*S? Like you I am having FL, NL, eyes U/L, and then on to TT and possibly lipo. Will all depend on finally meeting Dr. Arguello. You may have to nag Dr. Arce. His response time is getting longer. Don't know if they are getting busier or what. It's been weeks since I've asked for confirmation of receipt of my deposit. All I know is that it hasn't come back! Fun times. Good luck and I know that I am glad that so many RS ladies that have had surgeries in the past 6 months are so willing to give us advice etc.

Steps necessary for insuring safety cash payments in Costa Rica. Of course everyone is attracted to the savings possible with cash payments for surgery . What procedures are available to insure your safety in such a situation, Surely there some here who can comment on this!

Make sure you do it before you leave because you have to sign for it. I wanted to give my bank the address for where I'm going to get my dental work done so they could wire the money after I'm there because I don't know how much it is. Cant do that because they need you to sign for it. They said my card would work ok but I did wire money for the plastic surgery with no problem

you can pay cash or use a credit card in costa rica. It's not a big deal.
You will still get a great savings even if you use your c.card. I've lived there and have had plastic surgery and dental work done in Costa Rica.
