Looking fantastic!!!!!
Amazing job!!!!
Thanks, you are looking fantastic too!
Your jawline looks beautifully defined. Glad the healing is going well for you.
Thanks. It feels good to be rid of the jowls and saggy neck.
Are you happy with your lower lift? I like what I see & is his worth, making appiontment cause I pictures of a few people ☺
Thanks. Yes, I am happy with lower lift.
At a little over 5 months I'm still numb at the sides of my face and tight under my jaw. It is getting better v e r y slowly, slower than I'd imagined. But as long as the results are good I'm willing to wait it out. I'm sure you'll recover just as nicely or better!!!
Yikes, over 5 months! That is a long time. But I agree, it is worth it. Just a small price we have to pay to enjoy the life changing results.
You look fabulous! I'm going to have a lower facelift done as well so I hope that my results are as good as yours. Can you give a price on the veneers? I know that each price is based on an individual's case, but a ballpark would help. I've never visited Costa Rica, but it would be cool to go there and come home with new choppers lol.
Reading is fundamental. I scrolled up and read your review on the dentist and cost. Thanks.
Thanks. Best wishes to you with your new chopper. Prisma did a great job, however as I mentioned, it was more costly than I anticipated. But I have no regrets.

Day 14 Post Op

Yesterday was a big day. I had the rest of my stitches and staples removed and my lower permanent crowns put in.

I plan to come back next year with my husband for vacation and I will have my existing upper crowns replaced, which are old, lose, and cracked. The crowns were quite a bit more expensive that I anticipated: it came to $7,230 for just the lower. The quote for upper and lower was $12,000, so my upper should be an additional $4,770. I heard that other dentists in Costa Rica do it for half the price, but I am happy with Prisma Dental's work, so no regrets. It is still a lot cheaper than in US. Also, I have zirconium crowns, which were more expensive.

I have one more appointment with Dr. Lev on Thursday and fly out later that night. My neck is still a little tight, but getting better each day. So far,so good.

Gorgeous! And those teeth! Me and mine are leaving for teeth work when he closes on his new home an that stress is done. Can't wait watching all these beautiful results! You must be so thrilled! :)
Thanks. So far I am pleased with face, neck, and teeth work. I got the lower teeth a little whiter than my uppers, so I definitely have to come back and get the uppers done. And since I did not get to see much this trip, I'm looking forward to coming back next year to see the sights. Luckily there will no down time with the dental.
Your neck and jawline look great. Glad the healing is going well.

And yeah, shopping around for the best price is a really bad way to look for any type of cosmetic work: looks like you chose well :).

Save travels home.
Thanks. Yes, I'm happy with the dental work and would rather pay more than take a chance on less quality work for a lower price. Thanks for the well wishes. I have some new Kindle and Audible Books on my I-Pad, which will keep me occupied on my 15 hour journey home.
Your lower teeth look beautiful. Have a safe trip home. I will continue to follow your updates
Thank you. Pretty much ready to go home. It has been a nice break from working a ton of hours a week, but I really miss my husband and four-legged kids.
I think you look fantastic. I love that you look natural and not done. This makes me happy for you but also for me because I follow you soon with Dr. Lev and your results should be my results too. Are you still happy at Casa Mercedes?
Could you tell me what you are glad you brought with you and what you wished you had brought if anything. Do I need a special sleeping pillow for instance? I fly out on Nov 11th and I'm struggling with what to bring. Any advice you could give would be most appreciated. Thank you so very much :)
Have a great flight home and a happy reunion with your family when you get there :)
Your husband is going to be thrilled!
Yes, I am still happy at Casa Mercedes. It is in a nice neighborhood and not too far from shops. I've been taking Bobby, the resident dog, for a walk every morning. The weather has been great in the mornings and there are a lot of small parks throughout the neighborhood. It generally rains in the late afternoon. When you are up to it you can walk to Dr. Lev's office and Prisma Dental. I also liked meeting the 3 other Dr. Lev's patients. We had meals together here at the house most of the time and I went out with a couple other girls for a longer walk one day and out for lunch another.

I always pack light, just a carry on suitcase w/wheels and a tote bag. I brought something light to sleep in and a light robe, 3 pair capri pants, 3 short sleeve tops, flip flops, and I wore blue jeans, running shoes, and 3/4 sleeve top. They do laundry every couple days, so you don't need to bring a lot. I left my jacket in the car when I left and have not needed it here. I did bring the light blanket from United Airlines to wrap around me if I got cold on the plane or in the airports. Bring travel size tooth paste (2 or 3), lotion, shampoo, conditioner, sun screen. I brought a travel pillow (the u-shaped ones) and used it on the planes and to sleep at night. No need to bring regular pillows.

I focused mainly on relaxing and healing and did not take any long excursions. I couple other girls were real active and went on some day long excursions, but I opted to be conservative and really took it easy. I will be returning next year with my husband and will see the sights then.

Thanks for the well wishes, I'm looking forward to getting home.
Yoir neckline is beautiful and your teeth ..wow! I would love to visit Costa Rica, it sounds so beautiful. So happy for you and glad you had such a great outcome! Welcome home!
Thank you! What I saw of Costa Rica, I really liked. The mountains that surround the city are beautiful. I'm looking forward to coming back next year for vacation.
I think I may try it too. I'm Mthank there are lots of beautiful resorts there!

Day 9

Looking more like myself today, Swelling going down. Still tightness, mainly in neck. My next doctors appointment is on Oct 26 to get the rest of stitches and staples removed. Does it hurt to get the staples removed? I'm wondering if I should take some pain meds prior to appointment.

I bet it smarts, take em with you if nothing else an some snack so no tummy upset. Good luck today. I am considering your doctor. I'm always floored by his results. The neck tightness scares me though. I hear two weeks it gets better. Hang in there!
I would not get overly concerned about your neck, it is really not that bad
Thanks. The neck tightness is not too bad. Day 4 was the last day I took prescription pain meds. I took Tylenol Day 5 and have not needed anything since then. I do take a sleeping pill or Tylenol PM at night to help me sleep on my back. I'm a side sleeper, so sleeping on my back has been a bit of a challenge.
The staples didn't hurt me at all. They were immune head which was numb anyway. Good luck!
In my head haha
Not immune head lol
HaHa! I was trying to figure out what immune head was. Thanks for info.
I would like to see my neck just like yours HS59. So much younger. I get my helmet off today. I can' think clearly with all this tightness and some pain
Hang in there. You will be beautiful. Dr. Lev is definitely a neck man. I'm sure you will be pleased.
I found putting a pillow under my needs seems to lessen my need to side sleep, which I am too, that and the pain, lol!
Yes, and it is recommended you keep your head elevated so I've been putting pillows under my head too.
I meant knees Lol!
You look great!
Thank you!
